    stop showing me effing ads when I have a paid account. I'm getting sick and tired of this *! I shouldn't have to swipe off any * advertisement when I pay you people every single freaking month and have for years. I don't care that I'm accessing this online!

    AOL webmail is a free email service that is made possible by marketing ads. If you find the ads to be distracting, you can temporarily hide them and even give feedback on them. To do this, hover over the ad and click the "X" in the upper right corner. You'll be given the option to temporarily hide the ad or provide feedback on it. You can permanently remove ads by purchasing Ad-Free AOL Mail subscription.

    Hi there Robert! This is a security feature to keep your account protected. Most probably you have a 2 step verification enabled on your account. Although we would suggest you to keep the 2 step verification, you can disable it by following this steps from our help website:https://help.aol.com/articles/2-step-verification-stronger-than-your-password-alone

    When you delete an email, it goes to the Trash folder, where it will sit for 7 days until it's removed permanently. If you notice any issues or this process isn't working as intended, please report them at help.aol.com.

  8. Provide an easy, quick process for updating phone #. This is maddening - multiple options for new password but zero for updated phone #??

    Easier to change password than phone # - makes no sense! Cannot get into my all from public computer as all verification options involve my OLD # & nothing described or shown to update phone #????

    Our suggestion would be to access our help site on: help.aol.com were you shall be provided with a step by step procedure to update your recovery options or depending on the location from where you are contacting use you would be provided with a phone number from our on call support.   9. Why am I unable to sign in using fingerprint?

    I use an Android device and with ALL my Apps (except AOL mail) I can sign in using fingerprint. Why does AOL not offer me biometric logon?

    Hi there! Biometrics are usually set up on your security area from your settings. You may be able to see more info regarding Biometric sign in on our help site: help.aol.com.

  10. I'm so angry. I've had this account for decades and now I am constantly told it has redirected too many times and so it doesn't load.

    I would give up on AOL except I've been using this email for 30 years so it is pretty embedded.

    Hi there. If you wish to have a unified mailbox, please log in at mail.aol.com through a laptop/PC browser, click on Settings>More Settings>Viewing email>Inbox style. If you close/re-open the AOL app you should see the changes in the app as well. If you need additional help, please contact us at help.aol.com 

  13. I can't open my email on my android phone.It says AOL keeps stopping and app info and close app.This just started .

    I am unable to open my email on my moto e android phone. I can open them on my desk top.It says AOL keeps stopping & App Info & Close App.Some times it will open the first email but no more after that unless l restart the phone.This just started in the last day or to.Please let me know what you find.Thank you .William Farley

  14. Always a problem with emails transferring between folders. It says its moved but then it doesn't show up!

    Just want your email to function properly! i always have trouble with moving emails between folders. It's annoying because I feel like I lose/forget messages. It says it's been moved from my new mail/inbox to a folder I created, but it doesn't show up there. it's been overnight..

  19. Please autoset white color for'the letters in the mails when using the dark mode....

    On most.of the.email.the letters are still in black so when you use the dark mode the email are unreadable. You need either to autoset white color for letters or allow the mail to remain with a white background.
