  6. More Current Gas prices

    Your gas prices simply say " A day ago" without a date of when that day ago was. As of 2/19/20 Costco gas regular was $2.199/gallon. Your site lists $2.12.

    Thanks for the comment. I understand how this can be frustrating.

    The gas stations themselves report prices into the system we use. So if the prices are incorrect, it’s because they have not updated them or have reported the wrong price. I wish there was more we could do about it, but for now we can’t. I think you’ll find that the vast majority of stations have up-to-date prices.

    Thanks for the question. Private Party Value refers to the average price you could expect to pay from a private seller. It can also be a guide for you, as a seller, to price a car you are selling privately. A private seller is just an average vehicle owner, not a dealer.

    Trying to grab personal data off my computer...

    Here's what this skulduggerous crowd of scammers is trying to do.

    Their website (when you visit it) is attempting to grab data - called "fingerprinting".

    Fingerprinters collect settings from your browser and computer to create a profile of you. Using this digital fingerprint, they can create a unique profile of you to track you across different websites. When your privacy settings are set to Standard (the Firefox default) or Strict, fingerprinters are being blocked.

  9. GMC transmission 2016 Terrain

    I couldn’t find where to comment on the article regarding GMC transmission issues for models 2015-2019. I’m experiencing some of the same issues of it taking a while to shift when accelerating or decelerating and when it does it’s a hard shift and jerks. I have a GMC 2016 Terrain.

  10. I have a friend who owns a toyota pick up she was told by her dealership that she missed the recall by 6 days. As her frame is badly rusted

    Why can a dealership not honor a recall by six days! Seems petty to me.

PLUS PARTS. SO AS FOR ME IM LEFT WITH OUT A CAR AND I WOULDN'T EVER BUY ANOTHER KIA. IM GOOD GUESS I'LL HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER CAR WITH PAYMENTS.. RITE AT XMAS TIME.. GUESS ILL TRY A FORD THIS TIME.     Scott -

    Thanks for writing in, and sorry to hear about your car. I know that Kia does have a recall for that year/model where connecting rods can seize due to an issue with debris in the bearings. The recall work can be as extensive as replacing the entire engine block. You may want to double check, using your VIN, to make sure you are eligible for the recall. The dealer can do this. If so, perhaps an independent mechanic can confirm if the issue started with your connecting rods. If so, you’d have a great case for replacement by the dealer. Of course in any of these cases, it will take a bit of money on your part to investigate.
