Why in the **** am I looking at maybe suspicious emails and now not knowing where they are from and who.
There used to be a address from recipient that gave indication but total blank AOL you have turned what was a jewel in the crown into one stinking rotting egg.
I love the way you just don’t give one ,even when feedback tells you that the majority hate it and minority who may like it is less then 1 in a10,000 users. -

AOL (almost on line) has turned a blind eye to the users to return the old USABLE format. It's time to look for other email products.
I have been an AOL user for at least 20 years. It's time to move on. -

Nobody wants advetising mixed in with their personal emails. If you need the advertising, put it in appropriate areas like news etc. If the ads don't disappear from my email page, I'm switching providers. This is not only annoying, it's disgusting and invasive.
Update: early Feb 2021
Really AOL??? First you change to this stupid and advertisement ridden format. Now you keep prompting me every 6-12 months to change my password by saying my "account may be at risk" and locking me out. Changing the password should be MY option, not dictated by you. I've never been hacked so who's responsible for the risk, me or YOU? FUFUFUFU AOL. You suck!!!! Time to switch away from this garbage. -

This new format is absolutely AWFUL. I’m sure AOL is hoping people just “get use to it” but I have no intention of getting use to this mess. It is unbelievably slow and there’s nonstop glitches every single day multiple times a day. I also don’t need a big a** AD blocking everything. AOL needs to fix this for their customers before they start losing them, if they haven’t already.

User unfriendly interface. First, for all those looking for the old mail folder, Go into settings and you'll be able to turn it on..
3 really bad things about the new format
Removing the ability to swipe to see the next email is really bad when you get a lot of emails
Next, moving all the action icons around is really annoying. Did your design team understand muscle memory?
Finally. As a paying customer for 25+ years, I resent all the big ads. Let the free accounts see them I shouldn't have to.
