    This headline is incorrect It is impossible to know someones gender before they are born. 'Gender' is socially constructed. Gender is an identity we are assigned or assume usually in response to the appearance of our genetalia and the way in which we are socially conditioned as male humans to behave a as MEN or female humans as WOMEN.

    This baby does not have a known gender. She has a known biological SEX. Her SEX is FEMALE. She will in all likleyhood assume the gender Woman but who knows.

    If you are stopping your readers from viewing comments and replying, at least have the goodness to tell us why. Telling me repeatedly my privacy settings are wrong is of no help. Is this just me? Or have others been affected by this?

  15. I STILL cannot get i to my favourite news comments area due to some sort of privacy thing. I approved all lack of privacy, does not help

    Having ticked all AOLs privacy things dozens of times using Safari browser still unable to access newsletter comments.
    Done it over and over, no privacy left for me at all yet cannot comment or see comments.

    Monitor content. I had to swear at a commentator (called *** but take your pick, there are many espousing openly racist, anti immigrant, anti democratic ideas) when I was talking about fascism, said BETTER GET YOUR TOWEL READY FOR YOUR SHOWER alluding to the extermination of 6 million Jews in the Nazi concentration camps. You allow this sort of Anti Semitic, racist intimidation on your forum discussion? Sort it out!

    How bright are you people at AOL huh? is it just inventing things of no interest and no details its a joke. who there has the brains to let this kind of advertisement of interesting facts for the general public to be shown when there is no intrinsic value to it at all. What has journalism come to which bright spark thought this one up. You are being payed fare too much. Retire immediately or be fired. Oh bugger, AOL is controled by Americans.
