Trying to email my daughter but autofill is inserting an old deleted contact on PC
Fix the issue that is causing this problem. In addition, when trying to clear out old contacts, make it possible to batch delete by picking boxes. Also spent over an hour editing an important email because something caused the email to insert a "dot" instead of "circle" for a space so that everytime I hit the space bar, it acted like a return to split a sentence in an awkward place. Also words were awkwardly split between paragrahs like now became ho w.
Very buggy right now.The new developments appear to be causing more issues than they are helping.

SELECT ALL
not an idea - this is a complaint: (on the BASIC version of AOL MAIL - NOT the Standard Version...which I don't care for):
the SELECT ALL button for selecting mail in the mailbox used to work "page by page" ( if I selected SELECT ALL for the 1st page, all mail on the first page would be selected; if I selected SELECT ALL for the 2nd page, all mail on the 2nd page would be selected; if I selected SELECT ALL for the 3rd page, all mail on the 3rd page would be selected; etc, etc...

UserFolder, adding the option to delete emails after x days/weeks/months.
I filter my emails by keywords, e.g. "newsletter" and move them to the newsletter folder.
I don't have the option to automatically delete emails in this folder after e.g. 30 days

toolbar with bold, underline etc
I am using the basic e-mail platform and there is no tool bar for bold/underline etc and theses are greyed out in settings ( the tool bar was there before the newer version ) They do exist in the standard version now. Please make that toolbar available in both settings.

There's NO Feature for Linking Text
How Do I Link Text?
This new system has NO way to put a link in the text. This alone makes this new system very rudimentary and primitive. I noticed there's a ton of negative feedback about the new email system, yet it still persists. What's the point of having feedback if AOL won't listen? Furthermore, there's no way to alter text for size or boldness. Why was this change made? It's a downgrade; it's NOT "new and improved," it's "new and much worse."

PLEASE MOVE BULK DELETE BUTTON TO PROTECT USERS
I deleted YEARS of info by accident. The BULK Button is TOO CLOSE to the normal delete. I have lost legal and family info that dates back YEARS. This is WRONG. your tech support say there is no way to RESTORE past 7 days. MY CONTACTS ARE ALL GONE>

Larger composing area
Please expand the window for composing mail. There's a ton of space below what we can see and it's miserable to type without being able to see the words and having to scroll down and having the automatic return happen after every key stroke. Typing blind then trying to correct typos is an exercise in frustration.

In your CURRENT email "Settings" menu my email address is in a box that says: "1 of 50 used". How do I add another email address to the emaillist and where is the information on this in your "Help" section?

Pagination
I find I'm less likely to delete old emails do to multiple pages. When I could scroll through all of my email, I would sort by sender every month or so and delete 100's of emails. Now that I only get a few emails per page ... I can't be bothered.

Jumbled Emails...
Once you type a message and save it, the text shifts and becomes all jumbled, breaking words in the middle and slicing sentences in half. You can't send the message in this condition. What causes this and how can you prevent (or fix) it? Thanks,.....

bulk erasure
I agree with the many negative comments I see here about such things as font size. One not mentioned is that sometimes your attempt to check a box on a message fails. When you attempt to delete that message, the system asks if you want to delete all messages in the inbox. That is just stupid. The old system tells you that no boxes were checked. It didn't threaten nuclear war. Why not just ask if we want to reformat the hard drive??

When I enter my username/password and click "Sign In" I'm taken to a marketing page with an old man in a green chair, with a sales pitch asking me to sign up for a free aol account.
I've just entered my user info and attempted to sign in to the account which I clearly already have. Please, please for sanity's sake, get rid of this unnecessary step between me logging in and accessing my account.168th ranked
