Show the number of messages in the spam folder
Show us the number of how many spam messages are in the spam folder, just as you do in the inbox. We used to know if we had spam. Now the spam folder always looks empty. But too much is going in there, and we don't always know we need to check.

Please stop the McAfee License Renewal Notice ads. They are deceptive. I don't nor will I ever have McAfee's **** software installed. No matter what I do, they won't go away. I'm thinking about reporting it to the FTC for deceptive sales practices.

allow removing ad panel which chops off right side of pages I want to print
AD panel causes my pages to be cropped so that I only get left side of printed pages. Allow removing ads for printing.

New EMAIL is a step backward. Plain English replaced by icons, no insert capability or change background color of copied text
Simply revert to the old email format. What isn't broke doesn't need changing.

Non functioning printing
Sort out the printing problem in Firefox. Really annoying that inforation in Paypal statements and some other emails does not transfer to printer. The 'work around' is to click 'Cancel' then copy the full in formation into a blank document in Word and print form there. Tedious and time consuming!!!!

Can't use carriage return/line feed when composing email
When I write a new email it won't let me to hit return to start new paragraphs. If I create the email in notepad and copy/paste it into the email it works but that is a royal pain in the neck and just is not acceptable. You want everyone to quit using AOL email? That's the way to do it.

les pubs sur le côté de la page mail réduit considérablement le pleine écran de la page. De plus les pubs ne sont pas en français et on ne peut pas les supprimer. c'est insupportable

Traveling abroad- AOL personal verification code since I do not have phone service to get code.
AOL code verification abroad blocks my access since I do not have phone service to get the code. Cruisers check email in ports since they cannot afford phone/internet service. AOL does not give a shiff blocking our access. Maybe providing option to use personal code instead the phone code, would solve this problem? It can be tragic if we cannot get important messages because of AOL courtesy.

Although it is possible that my problems with my aol email are primarily due to the age of my computer, it is not by complete coincidence that I had no problems before you changed your email a few months back, and I have had many ongoing problems ever since - and ONLY on AOL email. There must be SOMETHING you can do to remedy the situation, and I, a customer of yours since the 90's, would appreciate knowing that you actually gave this your true consideration at the HIGHEST LEVELS.
