Auth 2.0 security is not fit for purpose
Since this system came about email on iphones has been sketchy to say the least, numerous account errors, mail not downloaded from server. Mail not syncing with the server across different devices. basically it is rubbish. Never had the issue before deleteing and re adding the account does nothing.

AOL continues to dissapoint. Many years ago, we used to cringe every time AOL updated. Seems we have returned to this. Every time you change things, you make it harder for the user to use your service. This last change (having to sign in---then get a code sent to another device---is just the latest problem. If I have to have a new learning curve, in order to keep using AOL, then maybe I might just as well expericnce a learning curve with a better service!

ADD DELETE CONTACTS
Deleting cached emails is impossible. Editing the contacts to remove is an overbearing process of click after click. I have a quarter of a century of emails, most of which I don't want in my contacts. Can you add a check box next to each for rapid selection and deletion? Anything would be better than the way it is now.

More poor corporate decisions
The new mail system is a POS. It's slower, poorly organized, and it's an example of people making poor decisions. Add off-shore programming and you have a sure-fire garbage system. Bring back the old system. It was quicker, organized, and user friendly.

Holiday themes
PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the holiday themes for AOL. Mail. There are only 13 to choose from, and only seasons. I miss the cute trees and snowmen and Thanksgiving and Halloween choices.

I am totally agreeing with the 83rd ranked, holiday themes are very important such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, etc., etc., etc. The previous version when we used the AOL program or whatever you want to call it had those themes.

STOP shoving "related contacts" in our face when sending an email. They are NOT related. Just 1 more nuisance to click off before I can send

RESTORE the ability to highlight and drag rather than having to cut & paste. REMOVE the silly logos on email addresses and RESTORE plain text so that we can highlight & move them to the body of our reply to avoid premature sending. And MOVE THE SEND BUTTON away from the end of the text we are composing to avoid premature sending. Hey, how about PUTTING IT BACK ON THE TOP TOOL BAR????

Font size, color and type settings please!
We used to be able to SET or font size, color and type in settings. Right now I can only set size and type BUT it keeps defaulting to TINY when I set it in settings to MEDIUM. Please address this as I cannot read that TINY size well.

Please revert back to old classic email
This new email is so awful & confusing. When responding to an email the sender's email gets in the way. While we need change, that is not one of things that need changing.

Have more options for AOL Support Help. I don't use Twitter or Facebook. I should be able to get all the help I need through the AOL website. You are offering Help that limits who can access it.

Go back to what works
Replying to an email puts your reply at the bottom instead of on top like its the next in the string. Email list should not have the long gaps between each email. To many problems to list. Original layout worked why would you not improve what you have? Take a lesson from the porsche 911. New version blows.

Auto correct spelling WHILE TYPING!!!
Your comment is UNACCEPTABLE. I've already checked my browser. It is set to autocorrect spelling. It always has been set to autocorrect. This function worked fine (and it works here in this field as I type... if I spell a word incorrectly HERE, it autocorrects while I type).
