Please call. THere are so many problems that I can't describe them all. Should have been worked out in engineering. Jim Kimsey would roll over in his grave if this product had been produced when he founded AOL. This is NOT easy to use for email and reading things. If you're trying to make this into a substitute for an I phone, it has lost its utility and you'll be driving people to Apple. AOL was for MAIL primarily, NOT TV, and so on. all tech support wants to blame problems with gold on users computers - standard scripted solutions , reload gold , restart , clear cache , clear cookies , reset location , + etc. - NONE work to cure problems that are built into gold by AOL by amateur + incompetent programmers - AOL does not listen or do anything about ALL the topics posted on this forum - ignorant of long time paid subscribers - AOL is thumbing their nose at all longtime loyal users !

Save Email folders does not work
Why is it we can't Save Folder As... or Open saved folder???? Why the option even still there? I have depended on this feature for years and is why I have continued to pay for your service. If this feature is never going to be available again it must be time to move on. What happens if pc crashes? All email is lost in software...

RE: Email and tabs opening in background
Sorry if these have been mentioned already, but I wish tabs actually opened in background when that is checked, and i wish that email replys didnt add "re" over and over when replying to emails going back and forth. I just sent one with 5 "re"s in the subject heading.

Remove the x button on To Box on Gold
Remove the x button on To Box for different contacts. Maybe you should send everybody a fact sheet about whats different on Aol Desktop Gold from the Old Aol Desktop because not all customer don't have time calling and calling just to figure out this new version.

Gold eliminated right click edit on all photos sent by email. This is a serious flaw . Please let me know if will be restored.

It would be great if Gold didn't put HUGE spaces between the graphics in our email. Do you know how ****** that looks?
Why can't our emails look normal after they're sent? They have HUGE spaces between the graphics. I've been dealing with this for 4 months. I believe I've been more than patient.

I hate GOLD!
I am unable to organize my saved mail folders by the date I have given the folder! Needs to be MUCH more flexible. I would like to be able to save and organize my mail the way I wish. No boundaries.

Allow Access to Level II Techs
Every Tuesday morning I sign on and the splash page and icons are all for the United Kingdom. I am in the US. Forty minutes on the phone with a level one tech at AOL - who has to get a level two tech to fix it - lasts for just one more week. The Level two tech takes forty seconds to make the repair. AOL is no longer convenient to use or customer-centric; now it takes time out of my day to use and maintain.
