How long have subscribers to AOL been complaining about the slow speed, etc. of AOL once Oath took over, and still the problems persist. I've complained since Oath's inception and today I'm still complaining. AOL's speed is terrible, web pages take long to load up, it freezes a lot and I have to shut down and sign in again - overall (putting it in the vernacular) AOL ****. I also sign into Google, MSN independent of AOL and on both the response time is instant and never any of the other problems. How far must AOL descend into being almost useless before anyone at AOL does something about these issues? And, to top it off I'm probably the only jerk who still pays for AOL per month just because my wife gets things with the payment on AOL that you don't get if you don't pay. I honestly don't even know what those things are, but I just keep paying for this lousy, slow service. AOL, you are taking advantage of your customers! DO SOMETHING ABOUT OUR COMPLAINTS!

It takes AOL Desktop Gold to connect almost l minute. Than every few minutes, everything freezes, have to wait a minute or so, and everything is normal for just a few more minutes, than a freeze again. Click on email, and it takes 30 seconds or more to display from a blank email screen. It freezes on web pages doing search from AOL Gold. If I'm using another browser, none of this happens, however I'm paying for AOL and you need to fix this system, before I terminate this program. Your yahoo is working way better and I do not pay for it.

Well, less than two hours later, Gold froze (Not Responding) twice and had to be ended and lost what I was in the middle of. This is not acceptable.

It took 14 minutes today just to get signed on. Sign on, wheel starts to spin and after two dots just freezes. Have to close. Rinse repeat many times before finally I could get to my email. Other Web pages load fine, just not Gold. Can we get rid of the junk like News which I only close out and won't read any way so we can use our emails and not waste the day just trying to be able to read them? We are coming on two years since we were forced to change. How long before we can use it like we used to in 9.7? This is beyond ridiculous.

When AOL was free, it was fast and easy to use. Now that I'm paying $4.99 a month, I got a dog that freezes and it's slow. Can you invest some of that money to improve the system, please?

AOL keeps either freezing or dropping off. When will these issues -- and all the other issues -- be fixed? It has been almost a year now, and I've seen very little improvement.

Gold continues to freeze and I have to go to Task Manager to shut it down. This is taking up valuable time and I resent paying for a service provided by a company that doesn't seem to care that their product is defective!

When trying to print an email using the PRINT function inside the email, AOL crashes. It works okay using the print function from the FILE menu. This has been happening for at least 2 days now

Please improve "server" response time. The LONG time it takes to delete a message from the inbox forces the user to wait before clicking to read another email. If clicking too soon, the next email rather than the one clicked is displayed (because the delete takes several seconds and thus the "click" on next email is really NOT the next but some other email.
AOL Gold is not friendly to a long-time user. -

Gold is constanly freezing and I have to go to Task Manager to even close it down. This takes up my valuable time and is not the type of service I'm paying for. Get it fixed!!!

It does no good to call tech support. And all you seem to do here is combine it with other complaints. How about solving the problem? How about solving ALL the problems?

Beta Version 1883 is very slow to start up, crashes regulary when signing on, crashes when switching screen names.
Also takes far far too many Task Manager items, 6 to 8 at least, not at all good!
Keep getting the "Internet Security Alert" scam, it's within Aol somewhere.

When will this be fixed? I've complained before, and all you seem to do is "close comments".
