the software keeeps freezing and goes to no replu. call me 1---***

If your browser crashes, please try the following steps to enhance your experience:
a. Edit > Select Footprints to Clear
b. Check the ‘Browser Cache’ box
c. Restart ADG
If the user had not previously checked the ‘Browser Cache’ clear footprint option, it can be restored using these additional steps
d. Edit > Select Footprints to Clear
e. Uncheck the ‘Browser Cache’ box
We would appreciate it if you would send a report of this problem to our AOL Desktop team to have this further investigated. To do that, click on the “Help” button on the top right corner of the AOL Desktop window, and select “Report a Bug” from the drop-down menu.
In case the problem persists, please call our AOL Desktop Gold team at the number 1-888-265-3733, in order to have one or our Technical Support Agents investigate the cause of this issue.

When trying to print an email using the PRINT function inside the email, AOL crashes. It works okay using the print function from the FILE menu. This has been happening for at least 2 days now

Please improve "server" response time. The LONG time it takes to delete a message from the inbox forces the user to wait before clicking to read another email. If clicking too soon, the next email rather than the one clicked is displayed (because the delete takes several seconds and thus the "click" on next email is really NOT the next but some other email.
AOL Gold is not friendly to a long-time user. -

Been calling since AOL Desktop Gold installed -- has never worked properly - very slow loading - can't retrieve old emails -- system constantly freezing -- and today they said only way to deal with issues is to send this note - that they could not connect me to AOL DEsktop Gold -- WHAT! Gold is constanly freezing and I have to go to Task Manager to even close it down. This takes up my valuable time and is not the type of service I'm paying for. Get it fixed!!!

Beta Version 1883 is very slow to start up, crashes regulary when signing on, crashes when switching screen names.
Also takes far far too many Task Manager items, 6 to 8 at least, not at all good!
Keep getting the "Internet Security Alert" scam, it's within Aol somewhere.

Now I see why mail was so slow to open and to delete. If I am signed on for more than a few hours AOL uses 78% of my resources with nothing else open even tho I clear my browser ever few hours. There are only 40 programs open at start-up so this is not the problem. According to Task Manager, AOL is way too heavy. In order to avoid this problem I have to sign off and back on every few hours. Please fix this.

Fix the bugs that keep it from crashing. We hate to leave aol. But we may have to. This has been going on since converting to Desktop Gold. Enough already.

I have noticed when attempting to COPY and PASTE, it doesn't always work on GOLD. It will paste the copy from a previous email, and the only way I have discovered to make this work is by signing out of AOL GOLD and going back in and starting fresh. This is a real pain.

I am tired, my life has been a nightmare of frustration since AOL Gold release, I am trying to run an online business here, which now takes 10 times as long. I have complained many times to AOL, nothing has changed. 50% of what I type doesn't appear and I have to go back and correct it all, I have to use task manager to force shut down Aol Gold at least 10 times a day when it freezes and many times my mail will not load or send and Gold slows down the whole computer system and any other program or window you have open. All I see below and hear from AOL is a Pile of FOOLS GOLD excuses about we are working on this and that. Bluntly, these issues did not exist with AOL 9.8.2 or any older version. If is isn't broken, don't fix it, but certainly do not break it, and if it doesn't work, don't force us to use it...We all pay for AOL, we should have a voice, let us use the older version which was smooth and trouble free and fast. After 20 years with AOL, I am shocked they do not seem to care about there customers. If I didn't have my AOL email on 50 websites for registration and on business cards etc, huge hassle for me to change all that I would have left AOL months ago. AOL if you are listening, making mistakes happen, but refusing to admit it and change course is inexcusable and might just be the beginning of the end for AOL......................

AOL GOLD IS ALWAYS FREEZING AND HAVE TO HIT CTRL,ALT,DELETE OVER 20 +TIMES A DAY .PUT AOL GOLD IN THE TOILET AND BRING BACK 9.8.2 AT LEAST THAT WORKED. YOU NEED TO HIRE SOME TECHS THAT HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING THE MORONS YOU HAVE NOW ARE BRAIN DEAD AND SHOULD WORK AT TACO BELL.

When are you going to fix GOLD? Sign on, "Welcome, You got mail" but heaven forbid you click on your mailbox to read it! You click on it, the computer freezes, ads keep posting, story, even 6 month old stories, appear BUT you can't do a thing. The computer is freeze as far as being able to do anything included close it! Thank heavens for "task Manager" only way to get control of the computer again! GOLD IS A REAL PITA!

Almost every site I open now opens with a blank black page - even the news. This is something that started fairly recently. I have to close the site and open it again to get to see the page. Please fix this.
Coupled with everything else that is wrong I find myself dreading to sign onto AOL. I've been a member for over 20 years and never experienced any of these problems. It is not fair that I am being charged for a program as bad this. Because of the many browser problems I now mostly use Internet Explorer. I can get my AOL mail at AOL. So what am I paying for?? No carousel icons, program freezes. I keep getting bumped off, deleted mail comes back.... ads all over the place, inattention to my posts on this forum....and the list goes on. I am on the verge of leaving.
