FAVORITES: As Desktop Gold has re-designed FAVORITES, it is now useless to me. It does not have any categorization which I use. I can not find anything! It takes too much time. BRING BACK THE WAY FAVORITES USED TO BE DESIGNED!

Why do you have to change things that don't need to be. Put back Favorites so I can drag and drop them where I want. Meaning the ones I use the most I put near the top. Now you want us to just use the folders. The Folders are great, but allow us to put our favorites in OUR ORDER not automatically Alphabetical. ( Please )

Just as email group members are now only alphabetized, so are Fav Places, which takes much longer than just having our most important things at the top. Do NOT want to make a folder of random things that we like: much prefer being able to list places on top that we want and then have folders underneath them be alphabetical.

Return the favorite list to the way I had it arranged with the old version, I really dislike the Gold version...

I like the searchable Favorite Places, but I prefer to look as I enter them, not search for them alphabetically.

older versions allowed me to organize favorites as I wanted. hard to believe that It can not be fixed in this version as it worked fine in many older versions............. sound like you just can not be bothered

The message just popped up. Telling me the technicians will allow us to move favorites in My Favorite list where we want.
Nothing happened. Went to "Chat with US"
Started a Chat, with Richard D. Told him about the MSG about favorites. Bottom line, after a back and forth, he told me to go to FEEDBACK.
So it is all B.S. AOL GOLD HAS NO IDEA HOW FRUSTRATING THIS AOL GOLD IS. And AOL GOLD DOES NOT CARE.

I know you're not planning to change the alphabetical listing of favorites, but you should. I had everything set up under subtitles, now that's gone.
Why? It does not help anyone. -

I know you are going to say you are going to combine this with another I'm sure this is isn't going to get posted and just say it will be combined with another posting. Don't alphabetically/ABCed the favorites. We are NOT kids!! I DO NOT like this!!I want to be able to arange them the way I want and NOT you!!I use these daily and it's a real pain to try to find them. Some are ABCed and others will start with www. This is not working!! Who's writing the code for this some kid overseas!!
Also wold like to transfer my favorites on my memory key the way I want them organized and not ABCed by you. Also would like to move them around the way I want to and not by you.Bring back the old way 9.8 on the Favorites!!

Gold's favorite list has no options to group my favorites the way I want. Bring back 9.8.2

My Favorites was an excellent tool and user-friendly...until you decided to messed it all up and turned it for the worse.
I have over 400 favorites, I used to make folders according to topic, now I can't. The new ones I make go into the alphabetical order and sometimes I don't remember the name of the favorite and I practically have to spend a lot of time looking for it and sometimes I give up and lose it.
Who is in charge of these changes? You ruined a good thing and you are losing customers.

Adding the "Quick Find" feature to the Favorite Places bookmark list was a good idea. Alphabetizing the list was NOT, because of the time frame involved, in when the bookmarks were added. In other-words, alphabetizing the list does not take into consideration when the bookmark was added which is important. So, now it goes by letter and not time, which is more important. Before, Favorites was compiled as to the most recently added bookmark, allowing for easy determination of location within the list: most recent at the bottom, oldest at the top, easy. You grossly complicated a simple process.
Also, the first letter of a given bookmark name many times has nothing to do with the bookmark subject and is therefore misleading and more time consuming to find.
Also, removing the "Drag and Drop" feature from the Favorites list no longer allows for customizing the order and arrangement of the bookmarks which is really the whole idea of the list in the first place.

allow favorites to be prioritized not just automatically alphabetical. 2) fix feature where you can make user name be one you want when you sign on when there is more than one user name on the list. This worked until second user clicked switch user name and now it only goes to second automatically when signing on. In my case based on the inability to have previous features, I will be looking at gmail or another less expensive ISP.

I have never posted a comment in the 25 plus years I have had AOL. I was pretty much happy and the Email settings gave me a lot of choices I haven't seen anywhere. My Favorites were easy to manage and made many folders as I have hundreds of Favorites. This was a great feature to categorized my many topics.
Usually when a company changes, it is for a betterment, simplification, easy new tools to improve the program......You instead made a decent, user-friendly program into a mess. I am reading the comments in this page and it is so disappointing to see how many problems people are having with the new GOLD AOL.
I pay for AOL gladly. Most programs out there don't ask for a fee or membership. Why you ruined a good thing and turned it into a mess? Unbelievable!!!

My Favorites was easier to use in the old AOL. I created Folders for my categories and now is impossible. You also MUST give a choice to line up My Favorites in order of most recent or oldest either at the top or bottom. I have hundreds of Favorites and I need to categorize my topics. Please take care of this ASAP. Thanks

I hate that you reordered my favorites and worse yet, it doesn't "let go" of the previous favorite!!

I hate the AOL Gold. Bring back the Instant Message feature ASAP. I am not happy that you put my Favorites in alphabetical order, I had them in the order that I wanted them in. You did this without my permission. Same with my Saved items in my Mail Folders. That is my personal way of keeping things, NOT YOURS.
