Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

fix the software or bring back the old software, Gold is slow as a turtle, email sucks for sending, searching old emails, etc. It's horrible.

I keep getting messages from aol that you are going to shut down my old AOL WHICH has been SHUT DOWN since December. Worries me that you don't keep track of that. Please get rid of Gold...it constantly freezes and weird things are happening to it.

I have loss all my favorites from my old AOL account. Is there any way to get them back?

Why would you change what was working ? I had my favorites set up the way I needed them to be for MY convenience, the way that was fastest for ME. Now what I use the most I have to scroll around to find. Return it to the way it was. You took a good thing that was working -- not just favorites, but pretty much the whole of AOL -- just fine and turned it upside down for no apparent good reason.

Over the years AOL has been the leader in my opinion when it comes to stable and reliable internet connection service. All the features works as they were suppose to. AOL was the way I started interacting with the internet via mail and surfing experience. In fact I still use my first AOL email address.
I have had friends "sarcastically remarking to me that AOL is "Ancient" and I should try other updated services. I refused because I Liked the way AOL was. not like it is now.
I feel that just for the sake of doing something different that you thought would be appealing you changed. While the goal was good. The results were not.
I still like using AOL but, not the way it is. I will stick with it unless I find something that works better for me. Good luck! and give me back the software I like. "AOL"... I hope it still means "America Online."

I have been very disappointed with AOL Gold because it gives me error messages that you can't send mail at this time, and try back later. I am also receiving error messages at sign on, and the Welcome Screen is blank except for an error message at the top of the screen. And before Gold, I could Delete emails much quicker, but GOLD seems to have think about the delete, and its a very slow process when you wish to delete multiple emails.

I F....ing hate AOL!!! I have been a user for over 20 years but some of the **** they pull is mind numbing! Cramming AOL Gold down our throats and the way they present ALL of their information and stories sucks. You click on a story block about an item and then you have to click "NEXT" on 50 things you don't give a **** about to get to the story you clicked on in the first place!!! It's maddening!! What a bunch of jerks!!

AOL Gold is horrible. Our service "disappeared" seven times already, and we had to call and speak to people who are hard to understand. Service is slow, and the maintenance people always try to sell us another service to "speed up" our computer. Often, we get a "unable to send mail at this time" notice, which can last for hours. You promised improvements and new features. All you did was take away wallpaper, nice images we could use to decorate our mail, celebrity Welcome voices, and all of the different emojis that we used to have. This is a joke. Give us back the service that we used to have.

AGREED - the old AOL worked correctly all the time, it was SO MUCH BETTER than gold.
Gold is like a bad joke, we have to pay fees for it, only to have daily problems with email.
Never had problems like this with the former AOL desktop.
Gold is undependable, and there are problems EVERY SINGLE DAY.
We use AOL accts for businesses and personal, and Gold restricts us from operating properly.
Navigating the issues is time consuming and is so frustrating! -

Look at the platforms of other good browsers and take the best features to incorporate in AOL Gold. Currently it can't handle very well multiple tasking and email is ridiculously slow. It often freezes up or is unresponsive for several minutes. They reinvented AOL to allow for more ads but at a huge cost to the integrity of the product.

AOL Desktop Gold can be described in two words: "It Sucks", It is much slower than the previous version of AOL desktop. Also when I click on a story on the Welcome screen and I am finished reading it and close the story the entire Welcome screen closes. I have to restart the Welcome screen and cycle through all the previously viewed links. I'm beginning to realize why people laugh at me when I tell them I still use AOL.
