Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    Getting support is impossible since it can only be done over the phone trying to talk to people who can hardly speak English. I spent close to 45 minutes on the phone talking to "ACE" to request the software disk you claimed you were mailing me but never did.

    That was in January and I still haven't gotten it.

    I can't sign on at all with my main screen name so I'm having to use an alternate to even post this.

    It's clear you're trying to drive away your rural customers who can't access broadband, and your plan is going to work if things don't improve very soon

    Go back to what it was before you "improved" it.
    Now it just sucks and if it's not fixed VERY soon I will cancel my account.

    bring back 9.8.2 and charge if you have to. I still use 9.8.2 for all the stuff AOL gold won't do.

    Since you became nothing more than an advertising circular I would like to know how many customrershave left your service to move to other sites that don't follow your annoying aol gold?

    Get rid of Gold until you can get it working. I have had AOL for 25
    plus years and it won't stay connected for more than 5 minutes at a time. I have switched to an another source.

    AOL Gold is the horrible. I can't get my mail a lot of time. It is slow to load (Don't try blaming somebody else) The Honcho that thinks this is a good thing should be fired or hung.

    How could you, with gold, even think about complicating simple procedures that we could often figured out ourselves and worse doing so without giving us any instructions? And when I started with "assist" we had English speaking guys who were great. Today, when trying to show me how to do a procedure, tech. twice showed me where to click once saying "go to the lower right" when the area was on the lower left and later said "go to the lower left" and the icon was on the lower right.
    You've got troubles and this is one customer who may be finding a better company to serve me. Gold has been a nightmare.

    AOL email takes excessive amount of time to load as if there is a defect in the software. Please review this. Also, we used to have an option to open email on startup. This was a simple but nice convenient feature. Why take away something like that? I don't see many benefits with Gold version for the user but is much more ad laced.

    Let us use older versions until GOLD is fixed...just read the comments, NOBODY likes Gold and it DOES NOT WORK prpoerly

    I just lost my favorite pages. when I click on options it gives me a flashing screen with 'beta" in small print.

    Wasn't compatible with my online banking...had to use Chrome or Firefox...finally I can use it but no idea why...it just started being ok. There is no rhyme or reason to this version.

    WHy can I no longer change the icons in the task bar soe I can add my own as I could in previous AOL?

    90 % of my post was deleted by AOL when my comments were merged into this topic - just another flagrant disregard of paid users opinions - just took 9 attempts to sign on this morning - second screen would not load , after 2 minutes , on some attempt got message URL failed to load timed out - finally get to third screen + it would not load - multiple messages to repost a bug in past two months - happens on different computers with different carriers - definitely a AOL problem - MSN sign in works perfectly with sign in + all other aspects - if AOL responds they will tell me to call tech support which is totally FUTILE - spent over 40 hours on phone with them in past year to no avail - they will have to PAY ME to call them again - this is how they treat 20 plus year paying customers !!

    AOL DOES NOTHING AT ALL - sign on - biased news - email - wecome screen user unfriendly favorites - customer service - site performance - paid subscribers input means nothing to AOL - been months on forum + not one area of gold has improved at all -

    again, what is wrong with the slow performance of deleting email, it takes numerous clicks to do so? Please advise?

    Email needs to be fixed immediately. 4 months is just to long to have to wait until an update is sent out!!!
