Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

totally agree - even using favorites has become frustrating + user unfriendly - past 3 days local news has contained stories on foreign countries 3000 miles from set location - sign in + site performance is the worst i've seen since we became paid members in 1997 - gold support does nothing but supply scripted solutions to problems that never help or work - problems are with gold programming + formats not users computers -

This forced upgrade to a severely impaired Gold version is an insult. Customers need to be able to lag behind with older versions, until all the bugs are worked out! I refuse to be experimented on with the inept Gold version. This needs to be fixed fast, and AOL needs respond directly to our concerns with tangible remedys or we will have no other options than to terminate after nearly 30 years.

I have been an AOL member for 28 + years. AOL puts out new versions and lets the customers hassle with their dis-
functional design. Now you have made things intolerable, by forcing members to accept the dis-functional Gold version. That is unconscionable. The Gold version has been and remain a poorly designed poorly tested abortion. Why does AOL continue to create illwill with its customer base by putting them last? Customers are very expensive and difficult to solicit and aquire, and so easy to ignore and lose forever. AOL always has had customer service upside down. -

AOL Desktop Gold was not ready for download. Consequently we feel we've been cheated due to the rush to make the transition. It would have been better to keep what we had with only a change in management.

I especially dislike the email format. When I click on "reply", and then try to place my cursor in the email to respond, my cursor won't land in the email unless I click on the the 'up' arrow and 'delete'...and then sometimes even that won't work. I've been with AOL for 16 years and this has never happened before.

Like many of the other commentators i have found AOL Gold is very slow and it is missing several good features of the previous desktop. 9.8 was a much better experience if you cannot fix Gold bring back 9.8. I have been using AOL since I first started using the internet back in the nineties and the gold platform is almost as slow loading as when I had dial up.

AOL removed features that their customer base loved. Way to go! Nevermind about being customer centric. AOL needs to look at the industry. Its all about the Customer Experience! Go read up about it.

AOL Gold is a step in the wrong direction backwards. I have been an AOL customer since 1997 and I have never experienced the issues that I am having now. Everyday there are different problems, The email is so slow, emails are there and then they disappear and then they are back again. Files disappear from my favorite places. Sometimes they are found in another folder sometimes they are gone completely. There is really nothing good that I can say about AOL Gold. If this was your idea of improvement you are way off. You need to fix it or go back to the old 9.9. It is not longer a nice experience as it was for many years .

Gold takes 2 to 3 times to get where I want to go. 9.8 was alot faster.
If this continues I might drop aol. -

All of the conveniences we had before Gold are either gone or don't work as well. Very annoying! I may cancel my membership now. Sorry! Your tech people dropped the ball, big time!
