    One of the best parts of the original AOL was Instant Messenger. It allowed quick access and the ability to query someone while something was in progress. Now, we write an e-mail, wait for it to load, wait for the response (for long periods of time) then work and start the process all over again. It couldn't be that expensive to bring it back and maintain it since we're ALL being charged to use this obnoxious beast!

    I do not like like AOL Gold for several reasons but the main reasons for us as a retired couple is the removal of the buddy list and AIM.

    Please restore the Buddy List and the Ability to send Instant Messages on AOL. I see no point of being on AOL if I cannot have these features.

    all the reasons i kept aol all these years went bye bye with aol gold there are no longer ims no buddy list plus you came out with aol gold before it was a complete program why should i pay for something that isn't completet i thought things would be better when verizon bought aol but i was wrong restore ims buddy list and everything you have taken away

    i've talked to others on aol and they are all mad because you took away ims you need to restore them i'm a paying customer and have been for many years and i'm thinking about dropping aol plus ther are a lot of stuff that is working yet you release a new program that isn't complete

    Bring back the buddy list and IM box. This sucks without it, I can't tell when my friends are online.

    restore the ims back into the chat rooms and put the favorite button back into email a lot of people are upset that these have been taken away

    One of the things I loved about AOL was that I could talk to friends instantly, now it is not even possible. It was worth paying for AOL before just for that convenience.

    Bring back instant messaging with text to cell capability as well as our old buddy lists. AOL's instant messaging was the major reason I even put up with AOL and paid for it. Now I'm paying for nothing but untested software that aggravates me no end, messes with my e-mail and has nothing to offer that I actually want or need including ads that keep my e-mail from opening or sending.

    bring buddys list back plus ims and let us put live youtube links in rooms if you want mostly all your customers back plus more
