GOLD support is Totally INCOMPETENT + UNCARING
starting in beginning of Dec. 2017 -
1- notified support about organizing favorites -
response - thats the way it is + can not + will not be changed
2 - at same time local news for location contained NO news for location , but contained news from 50 to 12,000 miles away - prior it contained news from local towns + area -
response - reset location , clear cache , cookies , etc . + restart -
- did not change - recontacted , NO response - contacted multiple times + received same scripted USELESS response or no no response at all - tried many different computers + internet carriers with same resukts , NO LOCAL NEWS - problem is definitely with AOL program+ NOT computer settings !
3- posted problem here on GOLD suggestion board -
response - SAME useless scripted suggestion to clear cookies + etc.. suggestion closed with no further votes or comments allowed - problem exist with no correction in sight , going on 6 weeks - multiple contacts with NO helpfull response since
4- local traffic has not worked for over a month - again on multiple different computers -
5 - if you are not going to listen to or act on consumer concerns + suggestions why solicit them ?
paid subscriber for 20 plus years , but not for long ! - total frustration with AOL - msn , yahoo , + etc. much more user friendly with much better support - WHY have local NEWS + traffic when there is NO local content ? - why have favorites that can not be easily + conveniently arranged ? - why charge for a site that has become progressively more user unfriendly + biased ?
