Now you have a three step process to sign on... are you trying to make Gold as difficult as possible... have you heard the term "user friend
The new sign in process is not user friendly... who in the world do you guys have working on this?
As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.

Why do I have to go to 2 windows to sign on with my screen name then another "continue" for my password? Rather annoying.
1 sign on window like it was before would be a great idea. -

I don't understand why it's asking me for my password when it should already know it. Makes me concerned that I'm being hacked. Not every time I log on.

I did not enjoy the sudden change in log in procedure... with no notice whatsoever... ..Or is this a scam?

I expected to be communicating with programming/technical staff but I will use this anyway. I have been a paid subscriber for over 15 years; hate the new "Gold" update. There is excessive advertising; numerous ads per story or page. Also, it is deplorable to have ads attached to emails (sent or reading incoming; very distracting. I also find the new Sign-In system unnecessarily troublesome. Previously one box-simple. Now 3 boxes to sign in. I find the new E-Mail System cumbersome. The addition of "In-Box is extraneous, useless, and duplicative and extra work to delete. All in all, "Gold" is just a way for AOL to rake in gold.

Only AOL forces three screens to sign on. Even banks do it on the first screen Makes no sense and has nothing to do with security or other options.
.
As to not clearing browser on sign off, months ago the response fro AOL was "working on it"
How long does it take to go back to something that was programmed in the last version? As with others, I vote to go back to 9.8. Your IT staff has probably been paid millions of dollars over the past year to create an archaic excuse for an "updated version". -

Why do we need a three screen sign in operation? Why not just one screen? This is silly. Where did you find your programmers? kindergarten

2steps require username then third step is password. High level security of my bank and my stock brokerage accounts and 401k accounts do not require 3 steps for security, why should AOL Gold.

You state..... "As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked." It is NOT a two step, it is three steps!! First 2 require email username then third step is the password. Go back to 2 steps....username then password!!

AOL Gold is much too difficult to log in...it now takes three clicks with a pause between each one. Response time is much slower. You must improve these problems or I shall consider other options for my service.

Reduce number of wasteful steps to sign in. Get rid of the NEXT page (useless).
Set cursor in password field so I don't have to click in it to do so. Return header info for emails. If error in entering password, just let a retry and not force to start sign in over again.
Why wasn't this release tested prior to release? I designed software systems for a living and would have been fired for releasing this to users! Allow user to see number of emails waiting in each account before signing in. Wastes time to log in to account if no emails there.
Just let user pick account from drop down list and enter that automatically - skip the "next" page entirely. If a mistake is made, the user can go back to fix it
This update was amateurish and should have been much, much better for the user..

You went many steps backwards when you forced everyone to "upgrade" to AOL Desktop Gold. Having to click thru 3 screens to sign on is ridiculous. Not being able to clear browsing history automatically when signing off is terrible, and a feature you used to offer.
The email page layout looks as if it was designed my by a 10-year-old.
Nothing about it was an improvement. You missed the boat, and I'll be leaving soon.

Just get down to one log on screen instead of a three step process.

I submitted a comment about AOL Gold going backwards and they should stop charging us until the problems are fixed. Their comment back was they update Gold every two weeks and closed my comment. If they update AOL Gold every two weeks, why are they going backwards? We are back to three sign in screens. I'm sure this comment will never make the general public.

make it easier to get a new password and quit wiping out old passwords when you modify your system

Go back to one sign on screen. The new system is ridiculous.

You changed the sign-in window...woo-hoo. Is that the best you can do? Why don't you just give us back what we had with the old AOL? It's time to make your customers happy.

It is ridiculous and maddening to have to go through 3 screens to sign in. And then when you want to change screen names you have to do it all over again. Bring back the old way.

Your implementation of Gold, as well as recent changes has been an incredible disaster. It has to be intentional; no experienced employer would do that much damage. You probably have someone or more new people in dangerous positions who feel compelled to put their mark on how things work. In so doing, they have created espionage.
It takes several attempts to sign on. Your sign on screen changes daily.
Your format for reading emails has subtle failures, generating a need to try to sign on again.
I have been using AOL for over twenty years. I'm seriously considering an escape if you don't clean up the mess.

Go back to AOL 9.6 Why do I have to go 3 windows to log in. Too cumbersome and time consuming
