Did you find a lie, an untruth? It is all verified and well documented. Appears that you are aligned with Facebook, Google, Twitter and other anti American companies that want to destroy America. You deleted my posting about the facts about Harris. They were all true, verified and public. I guess you are now controlled by the left. People will be leaving your site and moving to sites that allow free speech and does not swing to the left or the right. I have been with AOL 1978.

you tell me my comments are going to offend other people, mean while you let the other people write offensive remarks that I consider in appropriate. You should either let the comments fly or stop them all together and just show the stories.

AOL refused a comment i made this morning and I would to know why. It was truthful and contained no offensive words. In fact, I read other comments that were posted under that same article and saw several that were truly offensive and should have been refused. I simply do not understand why mine was.

I posted the following: "You can say white TV to describe programming that existed before the Civil Rights Act. Except for blacks being depicted as servants or step-'n'- fetchit characters, they didn't exist on TV back then. Things have changed and there is no reason that they should not be allowed to have their own TV programming, such as BET. There are also TV stations that broadcast in Russian, Asian, Polish . . . It had long been considered that the sports sections in the newspapers had been directed at men, not women, because it was believed that women weren't interested in sports. That was an incorrect assumption, of course, as evidenced by the fact that there are many female reporters writing sports news and broadcasting sports on TV and radio. There are black dating sites, white dating sites, Asian dating sites, gay/lesbian dating sites . . . whatever your gender, race, or ****** orientation may be there is a dating site for you. Before the Civil Rights Act, most white colleges did not permit black students to attend at all. However, some of them did admit black students but there was a quota and only so many were permitted each year. Therefore, black educators who were lucky enough to be admitted to white colleges established black colleges. However, they had no quota on whites as they refused to be guilty of the same kind of discrimination that the white colleges practiced." Well, I did not break any rules and nothing in my post violated the guidelines. Enough already! We live in the United States of America with freedom of speech, NOT in Red China or Russia!

The moderating of the message boards is a joke.
I posted a comment on the "AOC rips Yoho on House floor: ‘I have tossed men out of bars that have used language' like Yoho’s" message board that was rejected.
Apparently, the reason it was rejected was that I quoted from the article that AOC claimed Yoho called her a 'f***ing *****.'. Note that this is exactly how it appears in the article. But if I use the exact same phrase and spelling in a comment, then it is "not in line with our community guidelines" -

It's at the point where we can't say ANYTHING negative about ANYBODY or ANYTHING without being censored. I tried to post a comment in reply to someone who said that 5 doctors said that wearing a mask caused his wife to inhale carbon dioxide and that damaged her organs. I said baloney and noted that those 5 doctors must have received their diplomas from a Cracker Jack box. I didn't malign the man who posted the comment and the comment was 100% within AOL guidelines. Enough already with the stupidity of over-censorship. We live in the United States of America, not in Russia or China.

You need a better censor program. If you put in a response that has you are or are you together the thing will not take it. If you put understanding in the post it does not take it., there was nothing wrong with my posts at all you can have an actual person take a look at them. And then there are posts that purposely misspell things to get around that and you report them because they are offensive and you do not take them away. Let me post on that article. I did nothing wrong.

FIX the stalling out problem. Then kindly advise your FAITHFUL AOL customers the criterion used for selection of censors. I am being edited OUT over 50% of the time and I do not call people names, I do not lie, I cite my sources, etc. Routinely I see comments that are VERY offensive, if not threatening, name calling, "facts" made up and patently ridiculous. If you are censoring, how about FACT CHECKING? One without the other results in pandemonium.

AGAIN I no longer believe that we live in the United States of America, with free speech. The following comment has been censored: "For the past three or so years bigotry, racism, anti-Semitism . . . have reared their ugly heads more and more often. The bigots, racists, and anti-Semites are no longer being careful to not get caught, they're no longer in hiding. Gee, I wonder if that's because a bigot, racist, anti-Semite now occupies the Oval Office. By the way, please don't come up with the comment that Trump is not anti-Semitic because his own daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren are Jewish. He just practices a version of "some of my best friends are . . . " or "they're a credit to their race."
My comment did not violate any AOL rules unless, of course, there's an unwritten rule that Trump can't be criticized. If that's the case then apparently you don't agree with what Theodore Roosevelt said about the subject - that speaking out against criticism of the President "is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

I responded to an erroneous statement by a liberal. I did not use bad language or say anything bad about the person who posted it. I responded with a statement of fact and my opinion. AOL wouldn't allow it. Yet I have seen scathing comments...divisive and insulting....from liberals and you allow those without blinking an eye! AOL is clearly biased in a major way....to the point of ignoring "freedom of speech" from anyone who doesn't agree with the left. You are ignoring the Constitutional rights of conservatives.

I pay for your service, you have no right to continue to block my posts. I have posted a liberal post and you let it go. If I disagree with you I get blocked. No more of that ****, this is America. I will change all my business and personal aol accounts if that does not change.

I posted the Stages of Human development in a discussion about the SCOTUS striking down unconstitutional laws against abortion and it's awaiting review! For crying out loud, is this the United States of America where free speech is allowed or have we suddenly become a dictatorship?

I'm looking for alternatives to AOL on the internet. The point system is crapola, nothing but a popularity contest, and diminishes the comments of people who don't get a lot of points. It marginalizes them in a way that is 100% unfair, wrong, and insulting.
