almost immediately upon posting, my comment is rejected by AOL....what is the story? I even posted puppies are nice and bam....rejected. Fix this for paying customers!
-
ROBERT Z commented
AOL, is it true that employees can blacklist a paying customer and reject their comments even tho the comment does not break a rule? Does AOL allow that to happen?
-
a6789user commented
probably AOL employee shutting up a conservative
-
ROBERT Z commented
same here....cannot even post comment "Puppies are nice" and it gets rejected....you must be a targeted conservative by AOL
-
ROBERT Z commented
Maybe it is a progressive employee that does not like conservative posters many have suggested.
-
ROBERT Z commented
no matter what I post as a comment, even "puppies are nice", my comment gets rejected within seconds of posting, automatically? What is wrong with AOL posting algorithms?

explain why they are blocked and for how long. I have seen worse comments than mine blocked. I pay for AOL and I should be able to comment. If a comment should be blocked that is fine but I can't even post a hello or friendly comment.

I have been an AOL customer for 30 years. As of August 1, 2021 every comment I post has been rejected even though I followed the guidelines and rules. I went to the bottom of the comment thread page and posted a similar statement to question WHY this has happened and NOW I'm even blocked from using that. If AOL is going to simply reject those who follow the rules... while still allowing the same hostile and vulgar people to continue to post comments... shouldn't there be some option that would allow us to question WHY this is happening and to make a case in defense of ourselves since AOL claims to "welcome your comments." My email address is ****@aol.com

NO COMMENTS ALLOWED ON LEAD STORIES
Just like right now you have an NBC News story about Biden being in a bind re the border problems. This is a story of national concern -- AOL highlights it as the # 1 story, but no comments allowed.
Stop putting up major news items as this if you do not allow comments.
NBC views are very different from many of your users.
DO NOT POST TOP NEWS STORIES UNLESS COMMENTS ALLOWED!! -

This is the third time I posted this and have read comments from others too. Why, without YOUR explanation, do you reject posts in the news area. I have been a paid member since the 90's and have NEVER had a comment rejected. WHO does this, so I can contact them. I have talked to tech people several times. I would like this resolved since I never go against the guidelines! I am a nurse and have posted to many who have thanked me for valid information.

Not to start an argument, that just isn't true.

aol is flagging conservatives then allowing hate filled democrats

I have the same problem and I too am so frustrated considering I have no idea why I was flagged in the first place. I see comments FAR worse than any I have ever made and they are posted. WHY?

Re Megan Kellly's remark about the NFL guys using their own song at the games, etc.....you did not put any sort of comment space at the end of the article...which is your way of "handling" us out here!!! And taking away any ideas we might want to make re: that article. Is this starting to take away OUR freedom?? You allow an OK on the guys singing their own song, but won't let us comment on it? I think they hurt themselves when they pull those stunts...they only make people dislike them and not want them around. The black players have WAY too much power. I personally don't even want to watch them in a game!! Take note...things are NOT fair anymore, and the fun and laughter is gone from the games,r

Apparently, nobody at AOL even reads these comments, or even cares what their customers think, or what problems they are having.
-
DIANNE CASTELLI commented
And, you can't get anyone at AOL to "unblock" you.
-
DIANNE CASTELLI commented
Once you are flagged, you can't get anyone to unblock you.

Why can't I post on the comments page? And why is it so difficult to get help with this situation? It is so frustrating. And I pay for AOL Gold.
