Try refreshing the mailbox. Click on the Mail option on the top of the desktop screen and select Refresh Mailbox from the drop-down menu.

    MAIL problems: e-mails open but don't close properly, email window replace with colored area. Have to close mail and re-open to read next.

    I do not have this problem in Google Mail so it is not a laptop problem.

    Signed on to aol gold this am; clicked on read icon. Mailbox opens up as it should. Then suddenly a large blank screen with aol in the top left corner opens up in addition to the mailbox. I tried to close it and it kept popping back up. After multiple tries, it finally closes, only to give me repeated screens saying "We've having problems with email." Yet email is working fine
