gold sucks i cant send a 24.2 MB video to big but it is undewr 25.0 mb WTF

I have AOL Desktop Gold. I have AVI video files that I'd like to share with friends. The file itself says that it is under 25 MB but yet when I got to send it with a short description of what it is (wildlife videos), I get an error message that the file size is over 25 MB. Obviously, AOL is adding bytes to my file to prohibit me from sending them. This week I even tried to go onto AOL.com to send the files. AOL.com will not send them either, saying, again, that they are too large. Now, a funny thing is that I can receive, or on occasion forward, AVI files that are larger than 25 MB. So why am I restricted to 25 MB on these files that I am trying to send to my friends, especially when the file itself is under 25 MB?
