Reading stories on AOL is pure torture. I rarely can get through a story because of the number of screens and amount of ads included on the pages. It's extremely frustrating as many of the stories I'd like to read but it just takes toooooo long.

After 20 plus years as a PAYING subscriber, I resent that every news article requires multiple "Next" clicks to ever get to the point.I'm resigned to quit reading ANYTHING you present and soon, i'll also quit paying if it continues.

Why, now that I pay for AOL, do I have to put up with incessant ads that cover what I'm looking at or reading and sometimes can't even be closed? :(

You play tricks getting us to open the news about personalities. It sounds interesting with the news caption then at the end after clicking on the "next" many times there is a BIG disappointment most of the time.

Every front page article that you have makes you scroll through many pages so that we can get to the bottom line so that you can sell more advertisement; Not all of us are about what YOU want to sell.... We pay for the service and it can be provides in a user friendly way. I get so tired of the junk, I won't even open pages any more, or if I do, as soon as I see NEXT PAGE, I leave... It is getting pretty old... It used to be every now and then.... now it is almost every page

There is an ad on the upper right of the welcome screen. It is a guy sticking his tongue out. IT IS DISGUSTING!! I have tried to opt out of the ad with the link under the picture where it says adchoices. Where can i go to dump these adss. I would prefer to dump them all.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE WAY YOU WRITE ARTICLES..NEXT NEXT NEXT!!! ITS A WASTE OF TIME. YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE ALOT OF CUSTOMERS DOING THIS!!! WE DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!! WRITE A ARTCLE IN WHOLE!!

it is frustrating to want to read an article for which you give a teaser in your news section only to realize one has to go through multiple pages of advertising to read the article as it comes in one paragraph at a time. It makes one just skip over the article and belittles the interest we have in maintaining our paid subscription to your service.

Would prefer a more uplifting and gentle advertisement, since Verizon ad is impossible to remove. The image of a man sticking out his tongue the first thing in the morning is not uplifting or gentle. Its abrasive and a turn off. I'm happy in with my AOL Gold, but at the same time sick of looking at his tongue, on your AOL homepage.

I am surprised that paging through a News article is not higher ranked. As interesting as some of the headlines are, I have stopped following these links. There are WAY too many ads (of which I look at none of them). This clearly demonstrates that AOL is not sufficiently focused on the customer experience. Hard to imagine: An article on 'how to save your life with 3 words" and still having to page through multiple screens. I hope you recognize how insulting this is. Please consider something more reasonable; charge more for the ads if you need to.

I pay for AOL, don't make me go through 6 to 10 screens to read one story. It is infuriating and will make me leave AOL.

Your teasers take too many clicks on "next page" to get the info. I'm a 20+ year paying customer and I shouldn't have to go through this. I do one click and done. Soon the one click may be for "cancel". I shouldn't have to pay to be annoyed.

Cut the bull in the story, page after page that has nothing to do with the story, many times video has nothing to do with the story.
