Weather it be news or just one of the many articles on the slide show, why can't you click on it and enjoy that story or picture??? I don't want to go through every picture on the subject before the one advertised. I don't want to read one line at a time and click next. Can't this be an enjoyable experience????? I know ads pay the bills but they are all over the page can't the article be free from the intrusion????

I pay hundreds of dollars a year for AOL. Why I am seeing these stupid ads that slow things down? I boycott any company that has ads pop up in my AOL.

Why do we have to read a ten page essay to find out what happens when a glass is put over a stick of butter. I am so sick and tired of news items that lead to a ten page essay with 100 ads attached. I won't read most of the news items.

Please stop the annoying ads that play on their own in our email
folders, so annoying, it interrupts other things! I have been online less than 10 minutes and it has started at least six times. -

when I close out one of your annoying pop-up ads, it means that I am not interested in the product nor your pop-up ads ... and it doesn't mean that I want to see the same ad pop-up every 15 seconds on every story that I am trying to read for the rest of the day !

GET RID OF THESE 'STORIES' THAT REQUIRE US TO GO TO NEXT, NEXT, NEXT OVER AND OVER. Do not want to see all the ads we have to plow through

Far too many ads lately. Stories are often ads. Quite poor. Change it.

Just a heads up. If I want to read an article, I seriously do not need to scroll from NEXT to NEXT to NEXT sixteen (16) times and see 100s of ADs and 100s of Pop-ups. If this does not change soon; I am cancelling my PAID subscription! Going elsewhere for everything AOL USED TO OFFER FOR FREE!

I was just told on the phone by a Verizon (Oath) insider that they bought AOL for the sole purpose of getting revenue for advertisements. So if all of these horribly annoying ads make it unbearable for us to use AOL, then why are we paying AOL when it used to be free without all these ads??

Got tired of seeing you ads for check-up, down loaded it for the free trial. Ran it once, now can't get rid of it, and instead of speeding up my puter, toke me 14 minutes to get booted up.

Paying subscriber and annoying advertising.
My guess is those of us that are "paying" subscribers (paying since 1986 in my case) will begin to defect and cancel subscriptions if you folks don't find a way for us to read content without the disgusting degradation of ads loading... I would tolerate the ads if I didn't pay!

What I do is do a Google search on some key words (a name, a place, what happened, etc.) and then I usually get a few hits with news articles on that story. Did that today regarding the young boy saving 1000s of dogs, Googled his name and dogs and got news stories plus a link to his webpage with all the info I wanted. I just read that and I no longer have to click Next, Next, Next
