The only hope for fixing the click next debacle is to stop reading the article. I absolutely refuse to go through the "next" bulls**t any more so I absolutely do not read the aol articles.

I would refuse to pay for add free news. We are already paying for this horrible program and you can get the news for free at many other places that do not have all these ads and pop-ups. So why would you be willing to pay more?.

I would be willing to pay more for ad free content.
Currently i don't even bother to look into subject content because I am frustrated from being dragged thru countless ads, other people tell me the same.
Do your add clients even realize this?

Why the sudden surge in ads that cover the right 2/3 of the page content and have no "x" to turn them off? Don't you folks know that when an ad covers up a story, nobody gets to read the story?

AOL Gold is the worst ISP on the internet, overloaded with inane ads where you have to click page after page to read one sentence. The ad policy is absolutely ludicrous today, AOL has been ruined.

I'm trying to read a series on trend chaser and those damnable big ads come plowing in the bottom right and hop around. Do you guys get your jollies by trying to see how many ads you can have flopping around the screen? I don't know why I even attempt to read one of those. I don't think I've ever gotten to the end of one yet. Those stupid ads are very distracting.

You seem to be spending way too much time deciding on a new culture for AOL. The choices seem to be:
1. Liberal forever
2. Beat National Enquirer
3. Why post an item with one click when 20 meaningless, time wasting clicks will help get more advertising revenue.I can ignore 1 and 2 by just skipping over them. I will ignore 3 by simply not signing on to AOL and moving my business elsewhere.

One of the most annoying thing you do is the damned popup ads. If a person move the mouse just the slightest bit an ad pops up. Not off to the side, above or below but right in the middle of what a person is reading. If I am selecting the next frame of an article an ad will jump in front of the courser as I select the next part of the article. Very annoying. I have gotten to the point of using another browser to avoid the damned ads. MY GOD! STOP THAT ACTIVITY! I am using another browser. I am done with this ****. It has gotten ridiculous.

If you don't want us to read your articles say so. They can't be read with the AD's popping up all the time. Guess you are forcing us to get our information elsewhere.

Not sure I understand what AOL is doing here. Are you just providing a space where people can vent, or do you take feedback seriously with an intent to at least respond to it in a reasonable fashion? You have 274 votes and 183 comments as of this writing. What does it take to get a response from you, AOL?

Every time I have logged into AOL over the past several days, I get a solicitation to purchase a data security program. I thought that by paying for AOL, I would avoid these offers.
Not only am I getting the offers, but you insult me with the 'decline' option. The yes option says "Sign me up." The no option is "I don't want to protect my data." 'Insulting' isn't actually the right word. Angering is. I already have data protection software. A simple "No thank you' would be the appropriate tag line, but you go out of your way to force me (and others) to call myself stupid by demanding that we check a box that practically gives your permission to steal our data (since we obviously don't want to protect it) to have access to our accounts.
Get rid of the ads, change the tag language and I'll be a bit happier.

This change in reporting news stories really sucks. I hate it so much that i refuse to buy anything advertised on your screens. I usually opt out of a story after two or three "next page' and curse this process.

Why do we have to keep clicking "next page" over and over. Stop the **** ads. I can never finish a story. They are ridiculous covering the entire page with no way to get out. Stop, stop, stop!!! Or I am going to gmail after being with AOL for over 20 years. I mean it. STOP IT!!
FIX IT!!!! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, LIKE NOW!!!!!!!! You all had better wake up and smell the coffee before you have no members at all.I am sick to death of all of the aggravation. I will never buy anything from any of these ads. Yep, you keep on making money from the companies on that end while you are losing money from the fleeing customers on this end. SHAME, SHAME!!! Over and out. Hello gmail -
