I can't believe there are only 4 votes on this issue. I never finish reading the whole story, because I get tired of clicking through the pages. Therefore, all the ad are wasted. However, AOL is getting paid for them, so I guess that's all that counts, OH WAIT !!! I have a monthly bill TOO !!!!

How in the **** can a person shut down some of these damnable hopping, jumping, twirling ads that annoy ad nauseam? Just trying to read some material and there were TWO (2) flopping right next to one another. Oh, I know what to do. I'll just quit reading stuff on AOL.

They won't stop. According to articles on the internet the ads are making them money. . The fix is to get your news elsewhere like I now do.

99% of us would like to read a story without having to click "Next" after every sentence. We don't pay any attention to the gazillion ads you throw at us....which, by the way, cover 2/3 of the screen. I wouldn't click on an ad if you paid me.

Spent more time than necessary trying to read the story about the Freeman girl. After a few pages, I'd hit NEXT, but nothing would happen. Those **** ads kept changing though. I quit trying.
The one thing that is accurate is a white page when I sign in often that says something about invalid crumbs. I'm guessing that I'm being told that AOL is crummy.

PLEASE PCE AOL ADS AT THE BOTTOM OF EMAIL PAGE, OR POSSOBLY AT THE TOP. WE ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS AND NEED FUNCTIONING FETURES CONDUCIVE TO USER.
OLD AOL. PLACED ADS AT THE BOTTOM OF EMAIL PAGE, WHICH LEFT ROOM ON DESK TOP TO PLACE 2 PAGES SIDE BY SIDE TO COPY CHARTS AND WORK.YOU ARE A ALSO BLOCKING EMAIL WINDO HORISONTAL REDUCTION , SO EMAIL PAGE NOW USES MOST OF THE DESK TOP "WHICH WE NEED FOR WORK"
ADS AT THE BOTTOM OF EMAIL PAGE WORKED JUST FINE FOR NEARLY 3 DECADES -

I have been trying to read a story, and a **** ad keeps popping in to the lower left of the screen. I "X" it out, and back it comes. I' ve had AOL for years and I'm becoming more disgusted with it all the time. It is going to **** in a handbasket.

I have been a faithful paying member since the 90's. Now The monthly charges have gone up to almost 30 dollars per month. Don't you think you could filter the bloody advertisements out for us paying customers? Please consider this.

AOL's pop up blocker is the pits! Does not work! Still get too many ads and unwanted pop ups! AOL is becoming a dinosaur! MUST consider another provider. Too bad; AOL was once an A++ premier SERVICE provider; NOW an F grade. The ONLY positives left for AOL ARE the Lifelock and encripting.

TRULY apply your ad blocking and pop up blocking---as it is now, AOL is lying and practicing deceptive trade practices. THIS IS ILLEGAL! YOU S/B FINED MILLIONS!
