Passwords
You told me, on several occasions, that if I went to "Edit", "Startup settings", "Passwords", I would find the "saved passwords" - NOT SO. You may want to test this "feature" ... If obviously does not work.
Make sure you have the option “Offer to save passwords I enter on the web” checked by going to:
Edit > Browser Settings > Passwords.
Once you access a webpage and enter your login credentials a pop-up will appear on the top of the browser window. Click on the Save Password option. After that follow the steps presented above to see the website and password stored in the Gold software.

AOL does not ask if I want to save a password as it used to. The ask to save passwords box is checked, but I'm never asked. Why?

My AOL Gold has developed serious problems, such as not keeping passwords, so that I have to add them every time. I have tried to uninstal and reinstall, but it won't uninstall. The previous version had a neat thing. I could go to AOL System Information, then Utilities, and remake AOL as when first installed. There is AOL System Information, but it stops working every time. I have tried System Restore, but still have the problems that I tried to get rid of. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM!! I CAN TELL YOU WHAT WILL WORK. GIVE US THE CHOICE OF REMAINING WITH THE GOLD OR THE PREVIOUS VERSION WHICH WAS STILL THOUSANDS OF TIMES BETTER THAN THIS LOUSY ONE!! THE WAY TO SAVE FAVORITES AND RESTORE THEM WAS PERFECT IN THE OTHER VERSION. I COULD OPEN TO ONE I SAVED ELSEWHERE ON MY COMPUTER, SLICK ON A SITE, AND GO THERE. THIS VERSIOU WON'T DO THAT. IT LISTS THE WEBSITES, BUT CLICKING ON THEM DOES NOTHING. I'M ALREADY USING ANOTHER BROWSER MORE THAN I USE AOL AND MAY EVEN TAKE MY MAIL THERE.

I find myself using AOL Gold less and less as it does not remember all my passwords. Just some of them and there is no was to force add one. Google seems to remember all mine!
