Worst customer service I've ever received from AOL and I actually pay for Gold
I just had the worst customer experience I've ever had with AOL
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. It’s certainly our expectation and desire that you receive the highest quality service when working with customer support. We’re sad to hear that it sounds like you did not.
Rest assured that we’ve captured your complaint and will make sure your experience is shared with others in an effort to prevent this in the future.
Regarding the issue that you are experiencing, we’ve recovered as many emails as possible. These should be present in your “Recovered Mail” and “Recovered Sent Mail” folders, which appear at the very bottom of your folders list. We have verified the presence of these folders for your mailbox.
Note: The best way to access and review these folders will be through AOL Mail on the web. You can find this site at https://mail.aol.com/
In case the emails that you are looking for, are not in the Recovered Mail folder, please check if they were moved to another mail folder (other than the Inbox). To do this, click on the Read button in order to open your mailbox, select the Search Mail tab from the top of the mailbox, choose “Entire Email (Online)” from the Search drop-down, then type the sender’s address or the email subject into the “For” field, and click Search.
If this is a reoccurring issue, where emails disappear from the Inbox, it means that an email application that you use (Outlook, Mac Mail, Windows Mail, or the mail app on your mobile device) is filtering the incoming emails for you. In this case, please check the incoming mail filters on your email application, and change the filters, so that all new emails are kept in the Inbox.
Thank you for your understanding.
