Please try to clear the Browser Footprints in order to solve the issue:

Here’s how:
1. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu.

2. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

    you most likely are being shadow banned I cant comment because they dont follow their own community standards and i flagged their bots

    I agree 100% why only some times we are allowed to comment, That is not fare.

    When I sign into either of my AOL accounts, and I want to comment on a news story, it asks me to register or sign it. I'm already signed in, but it doesn’t show my nickname or my icon. If I click on where my icon should be (now, a grey circle), it asks me to sign in as a guest, or to put in my “first post” by asking me to “sign in or register.” When I click on the blue button, nothing happens, but I am sent back to the beginning of whatever article I was reading. In short, the page won't allow me to post on any comments on any of the news articles. This happens on both of my AOL accounts (Barbb2day and BCPsyD88). It not only happens when I signed into AOL using the AOL browser, but it also happens when I sign into AOL by using Chrome.

    You are so far left that you censor comments and often don't let me even read them before you hide them. Case in point: the article about Pelosi taking the impeachment to the entire House. Try being neutral for a change!!!!!

    When I comment on AOL news, it only appears on MY computer, not on my family's computers. I log off the article and return to it and my comment is GONE. It does not remain , however EVERYBODY else's remain that have posted on the same subject.
