BRING BACK THE OLD AOL
If AOL comes back the way it was around 1998, all Facebook users will move to AOL. I do not understand why you cannot bring back the old AOL BUT with enhanced features and technologies. People are tired of being abused by Facebook. You can steal all users from Facebook simply devoting to the user experience and improving new features like you used to. This is what we need:
-First when you log in: WELCOME (We miss for the AOL welcome audio)
-Mail: "YOU GOT MAIL" audio
-Chatrooms: Like old chatrooms but improved. Allow sounds, GIFs, send photo, user profile with photos, etc., as in the old days. People love the old AOL Design is better than any social media today.
-Groups like Facebook, BUT better. More power to the administrators and more resources.
- AOL User pages like Facebook, but better and more power for page owners
-Old Instant messaging NOT AIM but chat messages with buddy list like in 1998, but also with new technologies (We love the old style)
-People will pay $ 5 per month for live support and feel that AOL care for them. Thinking about the user experience that Facebook does not offer. This will get you all Facebook users to AOL. Do not make us feel like a product, but as human beings. You can become bigger and better than Facebook. I can bring 4.5 million new users to AOL. I have groups on Facebook and other social media and I will be happy to close all of them and bring everyone here if you treat us as human beings and always thinking about improving our experience using AOL.

The custom greeting sounds are now available with the latest update for the AOL Desktop Gold. To customize your greeting sounds, follow these steps:
1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign on.
2. Click on the ‘Edit’ menu on the top left.
3. Select ‘General Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Go to the ‘Personalization’ category on the left.
5. Select the ‘Sounds’ tab.
*As an alternative you can go to the Keyword(CTRL+K): sounds.
To choose the sound categories, click on the ‘Options’ button, and after selecting your preferred greetings click on ‘Apply’. You can also preview the sounds before and after applying them, by clicking on the Play button next to the sound name.
If you do not have the custom greeting sounds, it means that you will have to upgrade your AOL Desktop Gold software to the latest revision. To do that, click on the ‘Help’ menu on the top right, and select ‘Check for Updates’ from the drop-down menu. After this, leave the software opened for 10-15 minutes, in order for the update to download in the background, then close and re-open the AOL Desktop Gold for the update to be applied.
