AOL Client continues to be buggy --- WHY??? AOL 9.7 worked!! What is wrong?
WHY do you keep screwing with your AOL client? It is slow and buggy as always. NEVER happened BEFORE this ****** GOLD. When AOL was owned by AOL the company it worked great. NOW it is slow and sluggish. I have to re-start my computer to fix the issue. Restarting the AOL client does nothing. Can you fix this? I have an up to date PC that I built...super fast AMD processor....8gb memory.....Win 10 latest updates. Can you please respond? I have been with AOL over 20 years. I was a beta tester for many years in Northern VA where AOL began. Thank you. ****@aol.com
To resolve the slowness and performance issues, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:
1. Clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how you clear the Footprints: a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.
2. Restart the computer. This helps clear the internal memory (RAM), which often resolves many issues.
3. Enable only the essential startup programs. Multiple programs may have been set to start automatically when a computer is turned on. These programs may cause the computer to slow down, and affect other running applications.
In case you continue to experience performance issues, please call us at 1-888-265-3733.

I wonder if the people at AOL realize that it's browser is not acting right. Functions work only after multiple clicks and most of the time I click I get a function menu pop-up that i don't want. Watching a YouTube video requires multiple clicks to start and I get unwanted function menu pop-ups navigating.

Fix AOL so that there is not a long delay for sign on. It is currently taking as much time as old dial up sign on.

Solitaire Blitz always freezes or does not load...I have been having this problem for awhile now and it in not my PC. I have had the Geek Squad look at it and they said it was in AOL software. If this continues I will not renew my AOL nor my POGO. I have been with AOL since 1997 and I really find this very sad that you don't care about your paying customers.

Fix AOL Gold so it does not take so much time to sign in/on. My Gmail account takes no time at all.

Unable to access and use Capitol One account on AOL Desktop Gold. Called Capitol One and they have discontinued support of AOL because of antiquated software. Have to use Google Chrome or some other to pay account. Why do I have to pay for AOL if I can't use it to access this type of account?

aol is a joke! gmail for FREE blows it away! I can walk a mile till it loads, and my PC is fast, why don't you fire the IT guys and hire some from Gmail! I can read and write ten emails while AOL loads, soon I will wipe off my PC and send to the garbage where it belongs!

My email stopped working a couple of days ago. The new emails are listed on the email counter (now 90 emails) but the emails themselves do not display. Why is this happening?
Is this a bug? Something wrong? Needs to be fixed.

Try to get the mail system to run smooth for once,, Instead of just chocking. Aol gold must be reinstalled once a week when running windows 10.. A lot of improvements needed. Why need email below it usually won't work

I tried all of the above and they did not work. The AOL phone tech said the slow response is a KNOWN AOL problem and could offer no help. Since AOL can't get this fixed, why not contact Verizon Media and ask their engineers for assistance.
Also, why did I not receive an email that you had responded? I don't always check this link since it's more difficult to find my posts.
