Mail I have read is staying in my New mail folder instead of just the IN or Old mail folders as it did until 2 days ago.
Mail I have read is staying in my "New"mail folder instead of moving to the "IN" or "Old" mail folders upon closing Mail on the AOL Desktop Gold -- this just started happening 8/17/2020. Was there an update that caused this?
If the issue still persists please give us a call at 1-800-827-6364 and one of our technician will assist.

This is a critical privacy and security issue for me and probably many other subscribers. Have a way to delete the new Views folder or at least its Photos' contents, which now with one click reveals every download made from email over many years. And which I thought I had long ago deleted from my HDD's Download folder. They're BAAAAK!

Security Alert! Your last AOL update gave me a new folder in my MAIL. It's VIEW in bright blue. It has five subfolders, all empty except for one, PHOTOS In it are every download I had over many years, 99% I long ago deleted for privacy and security reasons. Now they are again available with one click. Your AOL chat tech tried but couldn't find a way to delete the VIEW folder, PHOTOS subfolder, or any of its contents. Mine now contains thousands of unwanted items. Enlarging one photo and clicking on it from the dropdown menu give me the entire, often very long, email in which it came as an attachment. There badly needs to be a way to delete/remove the photos, PHOTOS subfolder, and VIEW folder.

I do not understand why my previous bug report (Read Mail Retained in New Folder after Refresh) was not acted on before closing it to comments. Further I do not understand why it was never moved up from priority 251.
I am experiencing a bug that was supposedly addressed twice according the way I interpret two previous bug fixes.
As noted, i see several read messages in my New folder (noted by the check mark over the icon) that do not go the Read folder even after refreshing the Inbox folder *(or closing and opening AOL Desktop Gold for that matter). I have a few from Nov and Dec 2020 and a one each from 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019. Since my previous report, I have upgraded to version 11.0.3046 with no change.
