I find the orange/yellow highlight bar annoying and purposeless in my e-mail folder. We had no problem, why create one?...Bob Rahilly

I'm likely the only user who likes the highlight feature. People who say they're accidentally deleting email obviously have poor mouse skills since it has not happened to me once. Gotta look before you click.

I'm writing about that stupid yellow bar that appears when you're selecting your email in the newer versions
That is so freaking annoying I had to go back to the old version
Can you all get rid of that I don't see the purpose of that is very distracting and very annoying
I don't know who thought that would be an improvement whoever thought of that should be slapped in the face
It's very annoying very distracting to see that bright yellow bar across and it's very very unnecessary 🙄

Follow instructions above and then choose NONE for Highlight COLOR. It works! I only have partial vision in one eye and the orange highlight made it very difficult for me. Much better now!
If you want to keep the enlarged mail selection, then don't change the highlight zoom. That's what makes the font larger when your mouse hovers over an email. Choose NONE for highlight zoom if you don't want the enlarged font. I have NONE in both options and love it! Thanks, Mark. -

AOL is engaging in shadow banning by marking content they don't agree with as potential spam.

Agree with everyone here - turn off this orange hover feature; it is irritating and messes up searching for emails , it's like your highlighting 2 emails at the same time - so stupid !

Very frustrating...when did this start with the gross enlargement and jumpy text...KEEP IT SIMPLE...I'm an original user for 20+ years...enhancements usually are not!

Make an actual button for highlight removal...you lie saying it is in mail settings...nothing to remove the highlight on over!!!

Scrolling emails on AOL is so screwed up. Put it back the way it was!!

OK so after enough backlash they got rid of the enlarging text on hover, now go all the way and get rid of the stupid orange highlight on hover. We don't want it or need it. Its distracting and lowers productivity.

All complaints in feedback about the terrible change when reading emails with the magnified and orange highlight have been taken down. Instead of just erasing our comments AOL, Please get rid of this new feature. It is horrible. Makes me dizzy to ready emails.
