Put a date on all AOL sheets like the old version
the old version of AOL alwayd put dates on the pages that I was printing. Now they don't and i have to do it manually and it takes me so much more time. Please go back to the old way of doing it.
To make sure the date is displayed on the printed page, first open the email or web-page you want to print, then go to File on the top left and select Print Preview from the drop-down menu. In the Print Preview window, make sure “Show headers and footers” is checked on the upper left, then click on the Print button. The date will be displayed on the top left corner of the printed page.

Re: 03/14/2018 (Chat service update) - No Revision Number Listed
The update was announced today but it does list a revision number so I don't know what to look for. Can you tell me the revision number.
The latest post on the AOL Beta Central page is referring to an update to the chat service. This update is already live and you can enjoy the new Chatroom features without having to update the software, meaning that the software revision number will remain the same (11.0.1671) until the next software update.

In order for the software to open your last browsing settings when signing on, please follow the steps below to enable this feature:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold and sign on.
2. Click on Edit on the top left and select Browser Settings from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the Tabs button on the top of the Browser Settings window.
4. Check “Show browser windows open during last session” at the bottom (changes are saved automatically).Please note that if you close the browser window before exiting the AOL Desktop Gold, your last browsing session will not auto-load the next time you open the software (you will need to leave the browser window opened when exiting the software). Also each username has its own browsing session, so make sure you are signing on to the correct username to continue your last browsing session.

1. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu.
2. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately. :-)

AOL Gold is NOT an Improvement
Improved usually means "better" but the Gold version is NOT.....why do we need 3 steps just to sign on? Why do we need you to "fix" our Favorites, you do know we arent children and have our way of setting it up? Why when writing email there are no choices of fonts? What happened to our sounds? Why did you remove our Buddy List? You notice I didn't mention the Instant Messages!!! Adding images to our emails and resizing them when necessary is gone! Why if you want to switch screen names your cant see if there's mail, it would…

As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.
To resize a picture after it was embedded in an email, click on the picture, then drag one of its four corners to adjust its size. Well, I was going to tell you that AOL Gold sucks, but I see a bunch of other people already have...bring back 9.7 or 9.8
Gold is slow. I don't like having my email divided between new and old. I can't highlight and read my email subject titles. My address book doesn't work right. And the browser doesn't work at all.

March Update #1 - 03/07/2018 (Version 11.0.1671)....
I have signed off and then back on twice. Have also clicked "check for updates."
The latest revision is slowly getting rolled out to all of the Gold users. Thanks for your understanding.

In order to do that, uncheck the “Save Password” and “Auto sign on this username to open” boxes next time you sign on.

Restore my favorites
Yesterday I had some work done by an AOL tech and today, I have no favorites and my "mark unread" button doesn't work. When are you going to get this new AOL gold fixed? I never had these problems before I switched to GOLD. It ****.
Please make sure you have the latest AOL Desktop Gold version by clicking the “Help” button on the top, right corner of the window, and selecting " About AOL" from the drop-down menu. In the middle of the “About AOL” window, you’ll see the version you have installed.
If the version is lower than 11.0.1648, keep the AOL Desktop signed in for at least 20 minutes then close and reopen the software. The update should automatically upload.
Then run the import wizard by following the steps in the help article below.

The Finance tab which worked yesterday does not work today. I was told to contact Verizon which made no sense. I asked to be transferred to disconnect service and was disconnected.

AOL/Help/check for updates not working
AOL/Help/check for updates not working. Just saw notice that update was fixed and ready. But updates not working.
After selecting Check for Updates from the Help menu, wait 10 minutes then close and re-open the AOL Desktop Gold. To check if the latest revision update was installed, click on About AOL from the help menu and make sure you have the revision 11.0.1648. At the moment the revision 11.0.1671 is available only to our Beta software, but it will be released to the general version of the software in the following days.

To save a website to favorites, please follow these steps:
1. Open your favorite website in the AOL Desktop browser.
2. In the top right corner of the webpage, right-click on the “Heart” shaped icon then select Add to Favorites from the drop-down menu.To import the saved data from the old software into AOL Desktop Gold, follow the steps in the help article below.

Although I'm sure you will group this comment with another one, I have NOT seen one positive comment about AOL Gold. My comment is to stop charging us until you get ALL the bugs out of AOL Gold.
We take every feedback seriously and share it with the concerned team. We are updating AOL Desktop Gold every 2 weeks, please continue to send us feedback on what features you would like to see implemented.
Currently we don’t have an estimated time frame, but we hope the majority of the features our members are asking for will be implemented soon. Keep in mind that you can always make changes to your subscription by going to mybenefits.aol.com or calling the AOL Gold team at 1-888-265-3733

Footprints
I click 'Edit', then 'select footprints to clear' and the logon to AOL box comes up. I can not clear my footprints. This worked fine earlier.
We cannot replicate this. Please restart AOL Desktop Gold and try again. If the issue still persists call us at 1-888-265-3733.
