AOL Gold is NOT an Improvement
Improved usually means "better" but the Gold version is NOT.....why do we need 3 steps just to sign on? Why do we need you to "fix" our Favorites, you do know we arent children and have our way of setting it up? Why when writing email there are no choices of fonts? What happened to our sounds? Why did you remove our Buddy List? You notice I didn't mention the Instant Messages!!! Adding images to our emails and resizing them when necessary is gone! Why if you want to switch screen names your cant see if there's mail, it would save us time!! Why is our address book all screwed up?? Why when I send mail to more than 1 person do I have to send it to myself?? Why are there so many tabs in the mailbox seems it duplicates itself....and why do you have to delete email twice??? So much extra work for the members!!! I won't even mention the pain that all the ads are!!!
From reading pages of complaints, It seems there's not alot of this NEW version that isn't liked......9.8 version wasn't perfect but most of it worked for most of us. Seems you have failed your long time paying members with this lousy "improved" program!!! Is it worth the loss of many many members??? Bring back our AOL 9.8/2!!!!

Thank you for your feedback, will send it over to the AOL Gold desktop team, making sure the features you mentioned become a priority and will be added in the future releases. Currently, we don’t have an estimated time frame, but we hope the majority of the features our members are asking for will be implemented soon.
As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.
To resize a picture after it was embedded in an email, click on the picture, then drag one of its four corners to adjust its size.
