Do NOT automatically place viewed emails in "old" category AND finally fix the "keep as new" marker WITHIN viewed emails so they remain new.

I've been with AOL since 1986, and my satisfaction has always been tied to my email address and AOL itself. However, my AOL app has repeatedly experienced problems in the past. If hackers gain access to my data and passwords and AOL does nothing, I'll be forced to delete my AOL email address and all associated data. I hope AOL resolves this issue as quickly as possible.

Seit 1986 bin ich bei AOL, und meine Zufriedenheit war eigentlich mit meiner E-Mail-Adresse und AOL verbunden. In der Vergangenheit hat meine AOL-App immer wieder Probleme gezeigt. Wenn nun Hacker Zugriff auf meine Daten und Passwörter erhalten und AOL nichts unternimmt, bin ich dazu gezwungen, meine AOL-Mail-Adresse und die dazu gehörenden Daten zu löschen. Ich hoffe, dass AOL dieses Problem schnellstmöglich in den Griff bekommt.

There are large gaps in time where no messages appear to have been received in the past 24 hours or so, only to have them load at a later time, or after opening and closing the app several times.

It's frustrating when I want to read a mail, then I no longer have the ability to move the message to Saved folder anymore. If I want to saved, I now must go to Old Mail and then move to Saved. Please fix this.

when I open an email it goes into old mail doesn't allow me to keep as new. then I have to go to old mail and move it to new mail so stupid.

this has become very frustrating. I go and look at an email, need to file it, will not let me file it from inside the email, so I have to go back out and then it's gone to old mail. now I got to click into Old mail to now file it in the proper file. as I keep records. then, if I click on a link inside an email where I know the sender, when I go back to the email it's gone. now I have to go into Old mail again to find it to even go back in it if I want to respond or just to file it. this has become very, very frustrating. and if it doesn't get fixed soon, I may look at closing down my AOL account. I have had this since the late 90s, so Going on 30 years.

I totally agree with Andrew and everyone else who has commented on this. Why cant it be changed back to how it was? It now takes 2 extra minuits to check the email is in old emails and movevit back

Sooooo frustrating.
I click an email that's a week old, nowhere in the email is there an option to keep as new, the email then flies into the abyss of Old Mail that I have to search through to find it again.
Please address as soon as possible. -

251019 ... Hello AOL Emails .... Why are my Read emails disappearing into Old mail so quickly as soon as I swipe Right. My process is to mark emails as read (swiping Right) then go back to read ones seemingly of importance or delete them. But, now I have to hunt through Old Mail to find them and to find ones I wanted to KEEP as new for a bit. This was no problem a week ago before the changes, for emails would remain for hour(s) unless I did a hard return backward on account . Thanks gwenma77 20251019SN2037
