I really appreciate, Jack... That you provided me with the completely unnecessary lesson on what "I need to UNDERSTAND" about our constitution! And, I realize that some things need to be specifically clarified so that others can comprehend them, such as. R v Wade is not a law... It's a Supreme Court decision! As I've posted elsewhere... There are literally dozens of issues in America… such as healthcare, including abortion… that are not specifically delineated as “a right” in the constitution, but which are actually authorized by it through a number of its’ articles and amendments! Although I’m not a constitutional scholar… I’d say an extremely obvious one of those authorizations is posed at the very outset of the constitution in the Preamble… which says… (Bold and italics are mine for clarification) We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. In 1973, the SCOTUS ruled that R. v Wade was exactly one of those examples!
