So let me clarify my position…

You originally said…

I think that’s what actually doesn’t make any sense, because it does seem a bit contradictory!

But it did elicit my response of…
"Reminds me of how the current congress is working!"

Meaning, that while the majority of congress may agree on something, “the minority must get their way”, and has the ability to stop it... which is exactly what is happening today!

To which you responded…
"And the minority speaks up against equal rights."

Meaning... to me... that the current congressional minority... Republicans... are speaking up against equal rights… i.e… in favor of slavery and racism, etc, etc… and against sexual and gender identity, etc, etc…

And you’re Ok with... and in favor of that?

That’s my take on our conversation.
