About "all the efforts of women over the past 100+ years to attain an equal footing in society..."

Then you should be well aware of, and relate to, the plight and goals of the LGBTQ crowd.

To callously make the accusation that they simply "dress up and present themselves as female," is just as narrow minded and biased as those who insisted on holding women down (they're only women!), and refused to allow them their (your) rights as a human being!
