Show me my account so I can cancel some of what you are billing me for!
Disapointment in the fact that aol.com will not allow me to cancel any of the so called benefits.
Canceling your paid plan and changing to the free AOL plan gives you continued access to your AOL email and allows you to sign in to other AOL websites.
Visit MyAccount.aol.com.
Click My Services.
Click Subscriptions.
Click Manage next to the plan you’d like to cancel.
If prompted, verify your account.
Click Cancel.
At the bottom of the page, click Cancel My Billing.
Select a reason for canceling from the drop-down menu.
Click Cancel My Billing.
Things to know when you change your AOL account to the free AOL plan:If you cancel your billing and change to the free AOL plan in the middle of your billing cycle, you’ll continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing cycle.
If you have any active premium subscriptions, those will continue to be billed separately.
AOL reserves the right to charge and collect any fees, surcharges… -

GOD, it takes an act of congress to get out of your greasy cyber claws. EVEN 24/7 they cant cancel anything as YOU SAY THEY CAN

You shouldn't be charging $4.99 for a subscription just to reset a password when the online password reset doesn't work.
I was charged $4.99 for a subscription to Account Pro to retrieve a lost password. The online reset tool didn't work so I was compelled to make the call to get it reset. That in itself left a bad taste in my mouth but now I can't even find out how to cancel the subscription before it renews and I get charged for another month. Very hard to understand the Tech Support person which made the experience even more frustrating.

We’d love to offer free phone support to everyone, however, free phone support is an expensive service to maintain for a free service. Most free email providers do not have any option for phone support.
We care about our users, and wanted to be able to have phone support for those who want the live agent experience, and have worked hard to put together a plan that has value for everyone in order to achieve that.

Being honest
Several days ago one of your reps convinced me to add 'MyPrivacy' to my account with the first 30 days free trial then $9.99 per month after that because it would stop most of the 'spam' mail. I got 66 spam this morning, so I went to 'MyPrivacy' to check it out and it said my plan isn't eligible! IF I AM on a 30 day free trial please CANCEL IT as it apparently doesn't exist for ME. Thank you.

AARP
I want the benefit of AARP but my account ended and is not being renewed. Your customer service is very bad. I have called repeatedly but nobody calls me back. My plan cost includes these benefits but I am not getting them.
