FIx email
Over the last few days, my DESKTOP has not been able to access AOL email. But my phone has no problem. Everytime I try to sign in on my desktop I'm presented with a 2 factor authentication....WHICH I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR!!!!! After authenticating, it claims "Authentication Failed. Failed to authenticate with AOL, please try again later". Yet, it works absolutely fine on my phone. I used the web page, and again, no problem signing in. But using the EMAIL.app on my Mac....."Authentication Failed". Everytime for the last 2 days. FIX YOUR EMAIL!!!

rev 11.1.5032 problem switching tabs
on 1/13/2026 I logged in like normal to aol desktop gold rev 11.1.5032 opened amazon on one tab then facebook on the next . I could not switch back to amazon tab it highlighted it but did not switch. talked to tech support he was useless I reinstalled an old copy I had rev 11.0.4112 and it works fine Please look into this with only one tab access it makes this useless .

So in order to again try to push us to PAY for aol- you are covering the screen with CAR ADS so we can't read the news articles
I can't read the news at all because of the full screen active ads for CARS-- this is just a way for you to make us pay for aol and i resent all the years we've never had problems until YAHOO bought it- Sick of the stunts they're pulling. Give me back the old aol that was Free and easy

I'm reading my mail and usually switch to the news- but I can't now because AOL is over-riding my page with full page car ads (tomorrow may be something else) Longtime aol have longtime aol contacts and now yahoo (the new owners) want us to PAY for ad free and also pay to fix the problems they porposely make up but it would be almost impossible for longtime aol members to be able to contact all the past contacts they've made over the years- this should be illegal. Issue adding attachments
Issue adding a 7mb pdf file . When trying to send the email this comes up "Adding Attachment" followed up by "Message cannot be saved as a draft" error.

Fix replies to news articles..
Make it so that when I get a reply to a comment I have made too a news article, and I hit the reply button in the email notification, I go right to that article and the comment. As it is, I go to the main article, and have to open the comment section, and TRY to find my comment.

Block feature
To the aol editors: Please add a block feature to our homepage. On MSN I'm able to block specific news and magazine entities that I do not want to see on my homepage. If I accidently click on a People post I'm bombarded with People posts. FYI People is one I'd like to block. Also, Fox News. I want that blocked too. Make it easy on users if you would please. If MSN can do it, why not AOL?

block all the spam emails you are putting in the Junk folder of my email address and report the spammer(s) to the url's hosting providers and the authorities. Don't make me friggin do it--YOU do it. Also block both the root directory and the ever changing sub directories. You should be able to write code to do these things!

Before mandating a re-login, please preserve ALL my tabs and return me to my previous tabs/screen after login.
It really a jerk move to wipe out a person's workspace just because you want a new login. The least you could do is preserve my email tabs and open mail before redirecting me to a login screen. Then once I've re-logged in, return me to my screen as it was.
