Please explain why my comment on "Why Melania Trump Didn't Curtsy to the Royal Family During State Visit" violates the community guidelines and has been rejected. All I said (pertaining to the President's thumb when saluting): As a retired US Army officer - Tuck that thumb in, sir!

You should allow me to go back and respond to someone that has posted a response to a comment I made about an article posted on AOL. You used to until most recently. You have made it pretty much impossible to do this. I don't know why but I should be able to.

Stop the notification ads, it's pathetic
Great, one more item I refuse to look at that I have to delete multiple times a day. I despise advertising in any form so this is just one more reason. And no, I won't pay you to stop something that shouldn't be there to start with. I've been with AOL since the very beginning, but this **** makes me wonder if it's time for a change.

Bring out the past, where we were hearing"hang Pelosi".. what was done about those remarks along with so many others...Is that O.K.
A President of the USA can say anything he wants, have charges against him dropped and sue anyone that doesn't agree with him, is unbelievable. This is not America...Can't people see what's happening to our Country? Ir's time we vote for the BEST person running and forget the Party. If MICKEY MOUSE was running in a particular party, they would vote for him, just because that's their Party. Shame on voters. Why would it have been a WASTE OF HIS TIME(our President) if he showed respect for the Hortmans that were murdered, if he attended the funeral?

Fix notifications.
I am receiving notifications of replies to my comments. When I click on a reply, I am brought to the top of the article, but not to my comment that was replied to. It is impossible to carry on a conversation, or interact with people, because I don't find their reply.

Reduce offensive comments by not allowing people to hide between screen names.
People have been writing incredibly vicious, ugly things under their anonymous screen names, and I appreciate the way you have been deleting whole pages of comments recently. I am in favor of free speech, but I would like to see responsible speech. When posting a letter to the editor in a newspaper, you have to give your real name (at least it used to be that way; I haven't checked lately). I would like to see that online. People should not have the ability to anonymously post comments that they would be ashamed of being associated with by the people…

STOP SHOWING ADS WITH RODENTS! It makes me not use AOL.
I stop using AOL when large ads with rodents show up. It's gross and is an incentive NOT to use your site so it detracts from most of your advertisers.

Thank you for upholding your content standards by removing entire comment pages recently.

People should not have the ability to anonymously post comments that they would be ashamed of being associated with by the people who know them in the real world. In the meantime, I really do appreciate…

Fix the news articles
When I make a comment, if I receive a reply, I get notified and have to re-access the article and try to find my comment among all the comments in order to reply. That hardly fosters an exchange of ideas.

Some of my posts on AOL News stories and many of my responses to others' posts are being rejected as violations of TOS.
Some of my posts on AOL News stories and many of my responses to others' posts are being rejected as violations of TOS when they are clearly on-topic, not hateful, not threatening, and merely calling out an original poster's comment. One such example is a simple response to an off-topic post, "Off topic. Please delete." On appeal, the rejection is often sustained leaving the OP's comment, usually off-topic, politization of a non-political story, or just plain rude, intact - unchallenged.
Can the bot that reviews postings be fixed? Please?

Ignore The BBC when your stupid AI select local news stories for places in the US. It always confuses Birminghams.
Birmingham in the UK is not one of the Birminghams in the USA; teach the AI the differences and ignore BBC.

The comments will not load when the icon is pressed.
It shows at the beginning of the article that there are comments. but won't open when pressed. At the bottom of the article, it says "0"comments on all of the entire articles on the AOL news feeds. There is a malfunction.
