Smart features should not recognize spam emails as valid calendar invitations
I have been receiving emails recognized and categorized by AOL as spam which contain attached calendar invitations (.ics) and they are properly filed away forever in my spam folder.
But! these spam email events are added to my AOL calendar.
I have contacted support and opened up a case regarding the issue of the new "Smart features" after my discovery of this in the privacy dashboard.
"Use information from your emails to enable Smart Features so you can get the most out of your Yahoo experience: ... and suggested appointments to add to your calendar. ..."Attachments to emails located…

forwarded email has no links or html
this has been going on for a few weeks in different browsers and in various devices pc ipad etc.

Good morning. I tried to open an account but was unable to as my land line does not accept text. I do not own a cell phone. Perhaps you might consider a different option such as sending the 'code' to e-mail. Thanks Fred Stark
