    Can’t open Word documents or attachments in AOL mail. I forward them to Outlook and they open!! Why does it take AOL so long to sort this kind over thing? Paul Stevenson

    IOS is now 15.2. As of now PDF’s and images open. MS word files don’t work, I’m guessing based on other comments that other Microsoft doc ps don’t either. You can save the word file to notes and view it, but it extremely inconvenient. You’ve updat3d the app at least 3 or 4 times and it hasn’t been fixed. Like many Verizon customers we had AOL forced on us. The attachments all work in a browser or a third party desktop app like Outlook. In todays world we also need a reliable mobile app. The AOL app used to work perfectly, so I know it can be done. Many of us are paying $5 a month because of your support policies. In return we expect a working app, that opens attachments in a mobile world. If anybody has found a different mobile app that reliably works with AOL mail, please post the name. It’s odd how well you keep the annoying ads working just fine but can’t fix a feature of the email that is essential for basic email service. Would somebody who has found an alternative app thar reliably handles AOL mail please post a recommendation. I have no confidence that AOL is going to fix this anytime soon, if at all.

    The facility to see my emails and open them has disappeared from my aol app

    Just upgraded to 15.1.1 with the hope the issue would correct itself….I was wrong☹️….still can’t open doc and docx files …pdf’s seem to be working
    AOL….what’s happening on your end to fix this issue???!!

    Why can’t I open PDF files on all my important emails this needs to be fixed ASAP!! This is absolutely ridiculous!!

    Couldn’t able to open attachment why this problem always exists I have to open with books app to see the attachment all the time i considering to close the ail acct

    Also having a problem with this which is driving me nuts! Can open .pdf files now (but maybe because I installed Acrobat reader), but now .jpg files won’t open. Responses from AOL are not very helpful. Please sort ASAP!

    This needs to be fixed ASAP! It’s ridiculous how long it takes to get a fix in.

    I spoke with the technical dept. yesterday and was told there is nothing they can do until they upgrade the AOL app. I know there is a new IOS version 15.2 coming out....maybe see if that fixes the problem ......or makes it worse??

    This issue has been going on for almost 3 weeks…..pretty poor customer service if you ask me!!!

    Over 2 weeks now, cannot open any pdf on email. Desktop is fine. Please fix, or advise what to do!
