For the first time since you swallowed Netscape (and me with it), I am seriously looking at changing my primary email. Although I do like having my email in pages (my main gripe about what you did 20 years ago), I don't like the limited number of emails I can see per screen/page, the inability to search for subject or sender matching a selected email, the increased amount of clicking to use the "print" function, the inability to see how much is in my trash folder (without having to go to whatever the last page is), the listing by sender name rather than sender address (sender names change more often than addresses in subscriptions), and your wasteful emphasis on ways to make my screen more colorful. I don't even know what I got accomplished today, because you've so curtailed my ability to grasp what's in my inbox.

I want the old format back, that you can scroll through easily. This is horrible and i hate it. Please, Please bring back the old platform!!

Also, you need to select each individual message to delete, rather than clicking one and using the shift to select many to delete.

PLease, Please, Please bring back the old, tried and true version of AOL.

At least if I WANTED to go back to old system - the settings do not allow me too. You have done this once before and I was able to change it back. NOW - it will NOT allow me too.

This absolutes sucks!!! all my new mail is all mixed up with my old mail. (years of stuff) - I try to delete but it is 100's pages over and over to delete. Now I can not find anything!

I did not give you permission to change my account settings. I was not advised that you were changing the classic format. I did not give you permission to change my account nor was I advised so you are in violation of your original agreement. I need to be able to scroll down for emails and not go from page to page. I need to be able to querry all emails at once. I have been a customer for over 20 years. This is extremely alarming. There is nothing I like about the new format. Change is not always good. If I wanted this formation I would get a Google Account which I have been asked for years by my clients. I like the old one and stuck with you.. This is not exceptable.

I want my old format back .. it is imperative that I get the old classic back or I will need to go to another email system along with all of my employees. I need to be able to scroll down and see old email at one view and I absolutley dislike the format.

Please return my account back to the classic account. You did not ask me nor did you tell me you were switching the format. That is a violation. I have been a customer for over 20 years.

One thing that is an improvement is the feed back window option. In the past it was impossible to point out a problem with content. even inappropriate content

This new system is not working for me. Give me my old platform back. Settings to classic this is not my old format. It appears you really don't want feedback... this is not a new idea. I am in agreement with others - the new "classic" format is abysmal and certainly not the prior classic format. Give us the ability to go back to the prior platform. If I wanted to use gmail then I wouldn't still be on aol classic but now I think I may bite the bullet and change to gmail if this is how customers who have been clients since the beginning are treated. I choose to stay with classic when given the option, and yesterday it changed without a prompt. It is clunky and not easy to use. Stop forcing these changes. As you can see by the numerous comments, many hate this and may leave because of it - if that was the goal, congratulations.

I agree 100%! I selected to go back to the Classic View, yet it is NOT the original classic view! The ORIGINAL Classic View allows you to see the entire email address from the sender, which allows you to determine spam email more easily. The "new classic view" shows a stylized version of the senders email, which can more easily conceal who the sender is! YOU MUST CHANGE THIS BACK NOW!!! You are leaving everyone more exposed to being scammed by bad actors!!!

You can't even do a range select on the emails using the SHIFT key any longer!! You have to click each email to select! UGH!!

Additionally, what happened to the "OLD MAIL" box? I use this to be able to sort out emails from a given sender.

Now when I "move" email to a given folder, it takes 2 or 3 steps to do so!! This is NOT the CLASSIC VIEW!!!!

Time to change to a different email service.

Lol...your "improvements" are truly laughable. New version, which I've used for almost a week now, is so much clumsier and difficult...and unappealing, sight-wise...I'd love to know who designed it and thought it was better. Hilarious, and a sad comment on your code writers.

The new format sucks, return to classic asap. Who ever the clown is behind this switch needs to canned.

I absolutely despise this new aol and I am even more angry that they took away the options tab so that I could switch back to classic. If I wanted to use gmail then I wouldn't still be on aol classic. STOP FORCING THESE CHANGES ON EVERYONE. We are all total strangers on this site and every one of us hates the new format, you are going to lose the remaining users of aol because of this. We should have the option to use the classic version.

Looks like Gmail will end up the winner in the email wars
