  2. You no longer show pics sent to me in emails, i get a blank square. No I don't have 'hide pics' checked in my settings. bring back aol 9.8.2

    give us back aol 9.8.2 and stop charging us for 'priviledge' of a broken, not updated and messed up aol gold.

  4. Stop screwing around with emails.

    Now I can't just click delete, i have to click yes or no. So stupid. If I click delete, I mean delete! I don't want to have to repeat by answering the stupid question "Do you really want to delete this message?" Of course I want to delete it. If I didn't mean to delete it, I can recover it from my "recently deleted" folder.
    Also, why does it say that I have new mail and there is nothing in the folder??? This happens a **** of a lot. Yesterday I had 5 emails supposedly in my NEW folder. There…

    In order to disable the prompt, please follow these steps:
    1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
    2. Click on the ‘Mail’ menu on the top left.
    3. Select ‘Mail Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
    4. Uncheck ‘Confirm before deleting items’, and close the window (changes are saved automatically).

    Regarding the wrong mail count please call the AOL desktop Gold team at 1-888-265-3733 in order to have one of our technical support agents look into the issue.

  5. Page back button does not work

    The page back button does not work. When I click on it to go back to the previous page nothing happens. Just another error made by the program developers!

  6. Assist by AOL tech support charged my credit card for another year without sending an email to alert me that the renewal date was coming. I

    No alert email to renew ASSIST by AOL. Charged 179.99 again, then saw my Visa bill, called AOL cancelled Assist, and no refund of money.

  7. My AOL Desktop Gold has gone crazy...attaches my "Vietnam Veteran" letter to everything, my emails sent, my address book names...everything.

    EVERYTHING IS OPERATING INCORRECTLY...ESPECIALLY THE ADDRESS BOOK, BUT EVERYTHING IS HAYWIRE. TRIED TO CALL YOUR HELP...COULDN'T GET THRU. VERY UPSETTING.

  9. how safe are our accounts??? found some unknown recovery accounts and phone numbers listed on my account??? how and why? Couldn't log on.

    tried to log on. could not. ask about an unknown recovery account: "mikewilly@yahoo.com" and unknown text, mobile, phone number???? never heard of them. finally got to my settings and edited out the unknown numbers and name. what is going on? told to contact a security link. the link stated "not a safe connection" ???? what are you guys doing? How safe are our accounts !!!!!!

  10. Favorite Icons on Menu Bar.

    On the menu bar at the top of your home page, there is a place to put an icon of frequently used sites within a small box. You can select what order your want the icons to display. Move left, move right, first, last etc The icons will not remain in the order you set up. When you re-open AOL, those are rearranged. Frustrating.

  11. have to say aol sucks. it takes forever to get into a room. sometimes i cant type when in im a room. i cant see who is in a room

    aol gold is horrible. i should not have to pay for this. i cant click on a room to see who is in it. if im lucky to get to a private room i cant type in it. it sucks. just a waste of money

  15. Can't get rid of spam number

    Not only am I still getting a lot of spam, which I keep deleting, but it STILL says I have 5 items DESPITE the FACT that I have already deleted them. What is wrong with AOL? I don't need this aggravation...I'm going to have to go if you can't return 'Gold" to some semblance of 9.2, which I never had problems with!

  19. AOL Desktop Gold

    My AOL Desktop Gold does not show all of my current email, but shows only a few emails from the current month, skips the balance of the year and then shows a few from last year, skips most of the year.

    In other words, I am not able to search all of the email I have received and sent for any single year I have used AOL. Most of the email is missing.
