VERY SIMPLE GO BACK TO THE OLD VERSION AND GET RID OF GOLD AND OF THE developers OF ITG

AND ITS F UP.

AOL GOLD DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE IS SLOW AND VULNERABLE AND MANY TIMES WILL LOCK-UP COMPUTER REQUIRING A LABORIOUS AND TIME CONSUMING REBOOT.

Fix the program. Obviously this has been developed on a platform that not every one uses. I have long considered in ending my 20+ year relationship with AOL due to the poor performance of AOL Gold. Let not get me started on the articles that AOL posts on the welcome page. Due to the slowness lets add multiple advertisements rarely get to them. I may attempt once then use another program.
I do not expect any recommendations of uninstalling AOL Gold then reinstalling, this has been done multiple times. I would hope that the tech guys have developed solutions that will work. If I am told to uninstall I will not reinstall and use a better solution (Another service). The cost is too high for this type of performance.

AOL Gold is beyond terrible in every respect. In all my life I never saw a company as bad. There is also no customer service whatsoever whether submitted here, or report a bug, or in a phone call.. Complaints are not fixed or addressed. They are just merged with other complaints so they remain hidden. People I know have left AOL and if things don't get better soon I'll be the next to go. I've been a member since the 90's but my patience is growing short.

Just one example are they things they mark "planned" that never materialize. A small point is the icons for the toolbar that were "planned" and promised back in December 1917. It is now almost 5 months later and they are still not here. And that's just a small problem compared to what I am experiencing here. Complaining does no good. I've been complaining about the same things over and over for 6 months to no avail.

I don't think Oath (Verizon) who bought AOL and Yahoo will function as an online provider for very long because people are getting disgusted. They are the only one who charges and you get nothing in return but a non functioning program and aggravation.

Needs to be fixed. Tired of getting "not supported" or "outdated.
Not happy with Gold. Liked the old version better.

It would be nice to be able to read a whole article without it freezing just before the end of the article

Stop requiring changing password every 30 days. I HATE THAT BECAUSE I THEN HAVE TO CHANGE EVERYWHERE ELSE I LOG IN.
You used to have "ignore" as an option when going through list of e-mail. That still is an option but it does not work any more. I click "Ignore" and the mail I highlighted no longer goes to "Old Mail". Ever since Desktop Gold started, my service is so slow it is stupid. It is slower than it used to be when I had dial up! I called about this when I first noticed it way back when and was told it would improve. It hasn't. At some point I may simply have to change to another server.

AOL slow loading on MS Windows, often locks screen. Now on my Iphone 7, when I go to send email prompt comes up with wrong password and won't send when I never changed password. Read many other AOL customers had same reason and that it was another AOL glitch in the system, Incompetent service about ready to pull the plug. Your outdated sloppy service is losing customers and is a sign you are on your way out of business

I want the old AOL back. It worked. AOL Gold Does Not Work.

Get rid of AOL Gold and use the old program again. AOL Gold has too many flaws. It is terrible.

I totally agree this version of aolgold sucks and is the worst thing aol has ever done and should consider going back to its orginal form. I know making money is the problem and this was a money maker regardless how many people quit and many did. I dont like the way you show things and then have to scroll thru 20 or more things to get to the end product, pop ups are annoying and now when you go to a chat room a message pops up error gateway 502, whats this a new monitoring system. Come on aol get with it. I havent seen one positive review yet about your new gold money making scheme. Time to reconsider your stupid decision and go back to the old way.

Gold Freezes and the other internet explorers work fine while it is frozen. Not computer as your technicians seem to indicate. Fix it!

Been with AOL & loved it since 1995. AOL GOLD sucks & continues to get worse. How can geeks ***** up a great product so fast? I am slowly moving over to gmail. What a pain!

Where did they get these GOLD Developers, kindergarden school?

And deleting mail takes even longer than it did before. Why are things getting worse instead of getting better???? It also takes several clicks to open each mailbox.
