Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

How about giving us real options ie GOLD as it is for the current price OR BLUE with the option of having 1/2 the advertising for an increase fee .. There just might be enough people who would GLADLY pay more for less - less garbage to scroll over .. less junk to ignore .. less wasted time .. Maybe then we could get real UP-To-DATE news (while it's still news) .. Not having the same information on 3 or 4 different screens .. Oh any maybe because you've deleted all the repeat "stories & news" it wouldn't be 71 pages long .. It used to be 40 was a lot

Who ever came up with AOL GOLD and WHY? It has more BUG'S then an old mattress. You may hire the best educated people, but there not vary "SMART" I think the people that came up with "GOLD" should not work on anything at AOL, until they hear the "POP" sound! Let's see if you can use K.I.S.S. in the next update.

I used AOL for years, never had any problems. The AOL gold comes along, I start paying and suddenly I can't even log into the account that I'm paying for. What gives? If I can't use it, why am I being charged for it? I have to use another email account because AOL won't let me in!!!!!!!!

I have been an AOL member since I bought a computer more than 20 years ago. I don't use AOL for anything but my email because, it just takes too long to do anything when AOL is open. The only reason I stay and pay $12.99 every month and $155.88 a year for their service is that I like the AOL email format more than Google's free Gmail (or Yahoo, Proton, Zoho, Mail.com or even free AOL ) and that I have the same email address and I have most of my old emails. Sometimes, I do get sucked into the stories they post on the home page but, as soon as the computer starts freezing up, I end up closing the whole program because it takes too long for the computer to respond. This only happens when AOL is open. AOL seems to value their advertisers more than their customers even though I'm paying them for what most people get for free!!! Now, when I open AOL. I close everything but the email so I can read my mail.
I would suggest if AOL values their long time paying customers, they should work on using less pop-ups, stop stringing people along so you can shove more products in their face and concentrate on not taking over your customer's computer. I would say that most of your customers pay for your email service because they like keeping their address and they are used to your format and would probably even pay more so they aren't subjected to the barrage of your products or services or your advertiser's products or services. Because of how much garbage is pushed at me when I try to do anything while AOL is open, I've never used or signed up for any of their services or added value promotions because I don't trust that my information is secure or that AOL cares about my membership other than to collect my monthly dues and have an opportunity to try and sell me something. Your customers still use you because, they want the same address, the access to their old emails and the format and not the constant advertising you are pushing at people!!!

with each revision something else malfunctions. AOL Gold is one big mess. Things do not work, freezes often, some sites don't recognize browser, seach for emails no longer works, when you try to close a news story the entire news closes, F5 key still not fixed, mails go missing, still no icons for carousel and decent emojis as promised.... and I could go on and on because this is just the tip if the iceberg.

Since you refuse to bring back the old version and prefer sticking with this new, impossible one, the very least you should do is bring back the good parts of the old version! Why don't you?

The only good thing about the new version is the ability to add limitless things to the Favorites. Make AOL perfect by going back to the old version and adding that one thing to it!

Good grief - this thing is awful. I used to be able to go to my email and with a right click see the entire address of the sender so I could 'delete, report spam, respond.' This dang gold thing puts me at risk if I open, so I report spam or delete all. I've been late with bill payments, ignored important messages. I now hate AOL and been a member for over 20 years.

Discard the new Desktop Gold and bring in the old versions they were more entertaining and fun ever since you hooked up with verizon your services went down the drain. Before you know it you will loose customers and your popularity . As they say in my area if you snooze you loose . The ball rests in your court so learn how to make a basket so the whole crowd can cheer. Out with the new and in with the old
