Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

AGREED - the old AOL worked correctly all the time, it was SO MUCH BETTER than gold.
Gold is like a bad joke, we have to pay fees for it, only to have daily problems with email.
Never had problems like this with the former AOL desktop.
Gold is undependable, and there are problems EVERY SINGLE DAY.
We use AOL accts for businesses and personal, and Gold restricts us from operating properly.
Navigating the issues is time consuming and is so frustrating! -

Look at the platforms of other good browsers and take the best features to incorporate in AOL Gold. Currently it can't handle very well multiple tasking and email is ridiculously slow. It often freezes up or is unresponsive for several minutes. They reinvented AOL to allow for more ads but at a huge cost to the integrity of the product.

AOL Desktop Gold can be described in two words: "It Sucks", It is much slower than the previous version of AOL desktop. Also when I click on a story on the Welcome screen and I am finished reading it and close the story the entire Welcome screen closes. I have to restart the Welcome screen and cycle through all the previously viewed links. I'm beginning to realize why people laugh at me when I tell them I still use AOL.

I can sign on, but trying to get email or other internet interaction is futile! For the past 9 hours I've been getting the message that tells me that you're having trouble loading my email and to try again in 5 minutes! Come on, this is really unacceptable! AOL Gold has been nothing b ut trouble since you forced it on us. I've been an AOL customer for many, many years but now I'm considering if I want to continue. I hope you get rid of AOL GOLD ASAP!!!!

What is going on?????? So tired of not being able to get into my mail to read or even being able to send an email. This is happening more frequently. AOL GOLD is terrible!!! Ready to leave AOL and go to Gmail. Why are we paying for a service we can't use? Does AOL intend to credit us for not being able to sigh on? I sincerely doubt it !

AOL Gold is horrible. It's a crapshoot as to whether I can access my mail, or whether I'll get the notification that mail cannot be accessed and to check back in five minutes. Since a lot of my emails are work related, it's extremely irritating to not be able to actually read them. And today, I tried accessing AOL Mail through Chrome, and it wouldn't even let me try to log on; it just kept notifying me that "something is wrong". This is really awful, and I wholeheartedly agree with the people below who are asking that the older version of AOL (which worked really well) be returned. I'm not wild about gmail, but unless something is done, I will have no choice but to abandon AOL after twenty years.

Advertisers are doing to the Internet what telemarketers have done to landline telephone service. Very few people even answer their telephones. The pop-up ads are VERY ANNOYING and distracting. I have quit trying to read anything on AOL!

I agree! I have been a member since AOL started and this program has created more problems and increases need to take multiple steps to do what used to be a single step! For example saving an email with an attachment now takes 2-3 steps to save and read the attachment. It used to take no EXTRA steps to read the attachments!

Provide a method to save emails with file folders to the PC and the ability to restore them, provide feedback so we know when it is in fact backed up, make it run faster, the old version was much faster and doesn't lock up or crash like Gold does. Likewise when you check of updates, there is no indication of you are up to date or not or if it downloaded a newer version. AOL Gold really sucks
