Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

I been paying 20 years for AOL, AOL Gold is the worst thing that I ever seen, it is much too slow and if I try to open a link in email it takes forever.
And sometimes the link won't even show up. I don't want to get rid of AOL but I am very unhappy with the way it is. I'll make it simple get rid of Fool's Gold -

Still much too SLOW! Took a full minute to load, another minute for the background to render from white to blue, another minute for the welcome screen to render from blank. Another minute for mail to list, another minute for first email to open. Each time I clicked on a link in an email, it took another minute to open that site. Compared to the last 9.8 Desktop build, this GOLD *still* isn't ready for *********! I've tested beta versions that performed better than this!

I was forced into paying for AOL after many many years of being happy with the AOL I had. Gold is what my money bought and it is nothing but trouble. It's very slow even though I have begun paying extra for high speed internet hoping to make AOL faster. The windows don't open properly, etc. etc. I have not wanted to change to another provider since so many businesses and friends have my AOL address but I am beginning to think that may be my only option. AOL Gold is terrible.

GOLD is the worst operating system AOL has ever offered. I have been a loyal AOL supporter for almost 20 years. This new system really sucks. Fix it or you will loose a lot of customers.

I have stopped paying for AOL after more than 20 years, and I will not pay you another cent until you either optimize the program for COMPUTERS or give us PC users the ability to go back to 9.8.2. This version of AOL is a righteous piece of ****.

WHEN will this NEW and IMPROVED version become user friendly? Seriously EVERY DAY it is something else? I have been a long time user and as a rule never had any serious complaints about AOL but NOW. I'm beginning to understand why people keep telling me that AOL is obsolete. Hate to have to find something new after all these years that probably wouln't cost me!.

Couldn't even sign on, so I went to system restore and went back to date it was operational. Had live session with one of the techs today and he manually "fixed" my problem with trying to get on the Games (Masque) site that I paid $22.99 to buy coins for slots gaming. He said it was now fully functional and signed off. I went on and still unable to gain access. Many issues since this new AOL GOLD and I even pay monthly fees to AOL. Guess it's time to re-think my choice in keeping it. I also took the survey and complained and heard nothing back hmmmm.

BRING BACK 98.2 until you fix this mess. AOL has the reputation of being the premier email provider; GOLD IS NOT IT.

Way to busy to many ads. To hard to follow articles. If your going to charge for using AOL quit bombarding us with ads.

Oh yes I agree. Desktop Gold turned out to be a downgrade (not an upgrade) in operational efficiency. First, its a real pain to save any emails: you have to manually close two boxes every time and the process i very slow. Second, the browsing history is incomplete. It retains certain URLs and skips over others. SO when I want to go back to a web page I was recently on, chances are it will not be there. That is very frustration. Third, it automatically removes a current email from the new category when you save something. I don't like the program thinking for me. I may want to save an email and also keep it as new. AOL 9.7 did not do that, I agree with TOM. If you can't at least retain the good qualities of a previous version, whyuse the new one? Take the time to shake out all the bugs before subjecting users to this version.

Nothing works right anymore... Gold is really disappointing. I have been with AOL since the early 90's. I am getting to the point were I am going to cancel.

Nothing is being fixed. New problems arise daily. All of my AOL friends have left AOL. I am trying to hold out but don't know how long I can.

I have been with AOL for over 15 years. It was my first email account. I am so disappointed and frustrated with this NEW (Better?) GOLD. The best thing you could do would to be bring back the OLD AOL 9.0, 9.7 or whatever. The thousands of dollars I have spent over 15-20 years should get em something better. I am about a month or two away from dumping it and never looking back

When replying to an email there is a lag between the typing and when the characters appear in the display. This is extremely annoying. This problem did not happen when typing this feedback.
