Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    I calculated that I have paid over $5,000 for AOL over the many years and still felt the price was fair. Now I am paying the same fee for this awful, incompetent AOL GOLD. Everything is so slow... Clicking on a new email form takes a really long time to load so that we can begin typing a message. The text showing is far behind the typing speed. We get code numbers instead of pictures when friends include small graphics, in their emails to us. We can no longer right-click and select "ignore" to send incoming emails to the Old Email file for later viewing, if desired. So many ads everywhere! And over 100 spam emails every day! Some are very crude and vulgar. AOL Gold is too frustrating to use... and you charge us anyway! Very upsetting! Please, please return an older version of AOL for us to use.

    I have been an AOL customer for over 20 years....This new AOL GOLD that we were FORCED to PURCHASE...is a disaster. I use this for my JOB...and I pray every day that there are NO issues...many times i get on and I have no emails in my NEW mail...though it states there are several in my INBOX...WHERE ARE THEY???? Then after writing and calling AOL, they miraculously show up! This is MADDENING!!!!

    BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS AOL VERSION WHICH WORKED SEAMLESSLY. AOL GOLD IN AN INFERIOR PRODUCT WHICH DOES NOT SENT EMAILS ALWAYS A TIMELY MANNER. IT HAS BEEN VERY SLOW. WHY CHANGE A GREAT PROGRAM JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE BOUGHT OUT THE COMPANY???

    Shut down this current version and revert back too the way AOL 9.0 was. I am sure by now even the most dimwitted Management person, has seen the mass exodus of otherwise loyal supporters of AOL. This Gold version really has hit an all time Low in the attention too Consumers wants and desires. Its not the cost that drove people away, but taking their individual options such as the Immediate Message, The Room Ownership and Control of those that could come in the same. Sharing of photos back and forth in private. All the things that were taken away from Adults that should not have been. Greed for Money is one thing, but removing individuality and then demanding payment for it is absolutely atrocious. Quit dictating what people can do and allow them too control themselves as before and they would still pay the amounts You are charging with No issues.

    Return to old format - nothing but problems with 'Gold' - Been a member for over 25 years and this is the worse it has ever been. Considering to cancel. Being told that I 'cannot access my email now, Try back in 5 minutes' Are we going back to the early days with dial up? Please fix

    When you made the switch to Gold you inadvertently(word used by tech that I had a"live chat" with) unsubscribed me from all of my sports newsletter emails that I got daily--I was told I had to contact ESPN & NFL sites to tell them to email AOL to get on their "white letter" or something list because you have blocked them!! I was much happier with your old AOL for years--this Gold is a step backwards!!

    Can't post to comments on news feeds. Not on AOL GOLD nor the AOL APPS! Why??? BECAUSE YOU TURNED IT OFF!!!!! WTH?? How about turning off our AOL gold payments until you get your act together!

    more fonts
    stationery option
    please get rid of the ADS on the right side of the screen. They are annoying and disconcerting. I pay for this AOL GOLD service and do not want to see ads!!

    I agree with everyone. I have used AOL since AOL 3.0. Over 20 yrs. This version, AOL Gold is the absolute worst. I've never had problems like this before. Nothing works right. Please fix these problems!!
