Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    You guys have RUINED my entire on line experience. WHY did you have to ***** everything up? Everything was just great the way it was. I can't express how disappointed I've been since you just when ahead, as if WE DON'T MATTER, and screwed us all up. You are a bunch of inconsiderate, selfish, greedy bastards who have no respect for ANYONE but yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Totally agree with all these posts. Ready to quit after being a member since the 90's. Plus, you should be able to just open an attachment, instead of having to save it, and then have to delete it. And I don't believe we pay for this service and can't get a full blown out menu of emoji's to use like we get on our phones!! Saving to your file cabinet is crazy double steps, and then it doesn't take it out of your inbox - ever! You have to delete it - more double steps. Soooo many issues. If I had time, I'd go through and vote for every one of these posts. Please bring back 9.8.2 or this girl is gone.

    Are you guys trying to run Gold on a Dell desktop or something? So slow I can't even watch a YouTube!
    It's time for a change. I find myself surfing via Internet Explorer. I can use my ISP for email. Bye-bye!

    Cannot set mail to be listed "on launch" (AOL is still primarily an email program, isn't it?)
    Cannot set window size/position to be remembered
    Cannot launch "optimized" (it launches "minimized" AND then stretch the windows)

    Yah, AOL Gold is a definite downgrade. My 9.8.2 was free and less annoying. I'd pay the $4.99 to have it back! Using I.E. and MSN more and more! AOL used to log the last 300 pages you visited. Now most are gone. You took away the ability to pause video ads so that I could read stories instead of using video. A bypass video button would be nice. Now you place ads in stories so that we have to manuever around them and some have no CLOSE means. I think most users who are old timers (25 years for me) are going to be willing to SWITCH rather than FIGHT. AOL is destroying its own uniqueness. Good luck wi dat! Fortunately my screen name is the same on Yahoo, MSN, GMail and AOL. Switching won't be all that dificult!

    AOL Gold is far from what it was. I've been a member since the 90's and loved it. No more. Way too much is wrong and with all my complaints nothing has been fixed. Why am I paying for this ****** program? Going online used to be fun. No more. Now it's a chore.... and all they care about are huge ads upon ads no matter where you go. Sickening. Being so greedy is causing many people to leave.

    TWO hours to send one email this morning - kept getting message ( having a problem , try again in 5 minutes ) - reported it - tech support sent me an email staing system is functioning normally - GOLD is a total fiasco - emails working perfectly on yahoo + msn - only on AOL do i experience problems -

    I want my stationary and postcard graphics back. I want to permanently delete multiple items. Please advise as to what GOLD brings to the table.

    Totally agree with Holly.....I hate Gold! With AOL tech [Mel] weekly.
    Bring back 9.8.2 -it works.
    As a long time subscriber, I'm tired
    of paying for bad operating system. And stop Norton and MacAfee.....don't want them so stop adding. Think it might be time to make a change.

    ? COULD IT BE THAT THIS ''GOLD'' HAS ALSO EFFECTED MY PRINTER ?? IT`S TOTALLY GOTTEN OUT OF HAND. EVERY DAY IT`S SOMETHING ELSE I DISCOVER THATS NOT HERE ANYMORE.....HOW SADISTIC YOU ARE !
